A FEW WEEKS HAD PASSED, AND SLOWLY THINGS WERE STARTING to get better. Better, that is, for Robb and Rhaenerys, but not necessarily for the war that surround them. As for that, it was still going on and Joffrey had officially announced this.

He had declared to everyone in Westeros that Robb was now an enemy of the crown, and whoever wanted him was welcome to kill him and bring his head back to Joffrey.

The King had made a sport of it, and he still had not called off his bounty off on Rhaenerys or her child. This made Robb angrier and more motivated than ever.

He made sure to express these feelings to Rhaenerys now, like he promised. And she was now included in the things he knew, and sometimes even the meetings he went to.

Because of this, she knew that Joffrey's men were advancing on them, but that wasn't the only thing they had to worry about.

Rhaenerys had learned only a few days ago that the North had been completely over run. From Castle Black all the way to House Mormont, everything had been completely pillaged by the white walkers.

Jon and his men abandon their watch, joining them a few days ago.

It was bittersweet seeing Jon again, the circumstances definitely not ideal. But it was sweet because of how happy it made both Robb and Ned.

Rhaenerys could tell that with his brother around, Robb didn't feel the pressure as much anymore. He was a bit lighter, more joyful, and less worried now that he knew almost all of his family were safe.

Luckily, the white walkers were not able to reach the Vale, but Ned Stark still worried for the people they left behind. He was specially worried about his wife and children, but the constant ravens Catelyn sent him said that they were safe, for now.

For now.

Those words weighed heavily on everyone's shoulders. Everything was just...still for now. And no one knew for how long.

Ned did not know how long until their enemies from both North and South caught up to them. He did not know how long they had, for they had hit a roadblock.

Ned had reached a certain river that his army needed to cross in order to even be considered safe. And if they didn't, then it would be the enemy from the North that got to them first.

The only problem was that the river was owned by Walder Frey. And Walder Frey was a dreadful man that even Ned Stark, as honorable as he was, could not stand.

He had went over the river one day to negotiate with him and had nearly lost his temper. If it hadn't been for Robb exchanging calm words with Lord Frey, then Ned would have pulled out his sword to stab him.
