21. Declaration of War

"The history of shinobi we all know now is nothing but an illusion that was created by Kazumi Otsutsuki. Kazumi didnt want anyone breaking the seal of the Jyuubi. So she entrusted everything to her leniage by making sure to plant all her memories on those who will carry her blood." Madara said, his eyes on Shinya.

"Am I wrong Shinya Otsutsuki?" He asked and everybody's eyes fell on Shinya who was silent the entire time. Shinya sighed heavily knowing that the attention is now on him. "I had doubts when you said that you were Madara Uchiha but I guess I was wrong. If you knew this much, there is no reason for me to consider that you arent Madara Uchiha." Shinya spoke.

"To be perfectly honest. What you said now was true." The Otsutsuki said shocking everyone present there. "For the most part actually. There were many lies mixed in your truth. First, Kaguya never thought of conquering the world at first. She found someone she fell in love with but for some reason that man believed the lies fed by others and tried to kill her. That angered her and it was then she started taking advantage of the Jyuubi."

"Second, Lady Kazumi didnt fight Kaguya alone. She fought them alongside her brothers who were also against their mother. Third, she never erased the memories of her brothers. It was a decision made by all 3 of them since they didnt want anyone to be considering their mother a monster." Shinya continued.

"The Sage of Six Paths wanted to promote peace by sharing and caring for others. Despite all she had done Kaguya was still their mother so everyone's memories were altered to preserve the true peace which they managed to create after their mother's absence. Lady Kazumi was indeed a pure blooded Otsutsuki which pretty much means she is immortal but using the Tensegan took a toll on her body. So as you said she entrusted the truth to the ones carrying her blood in case someone like you pops up in the future." He said leaning back on his chair.

"You didnt know anything about shinobi until Master Jiraiya found you. How come you knew all this?" Hiashi Hyuga asked the white haired male. "I met Lady Kazumi when I awakened my rinnegan. She showed me everything." Shinya replied which earned a few gasps. "This truth was kept a secret for generations to prevent chaos and it was in my intention to keep it that way." Shinya said standing up.

"I agree with Shinya. Certain things are better to be kept hidden." Kushina Uzumaki spoke. "I agree with him too. But now that the truth is out, that doesnt change things either." Minato spoke earning a chuckle from the masked man. "How naive! Well.. It was something I expected. You are all under the illusion put under Kazumi Otsutsuki and I am willing to break everyone from the illusion." He spoke.

"We shinobi were never meant to protect this human race. We were meant to rule them as superior beings. I actually wanted to take the 5 major clan leaders as hostage but I dont see that happening anytime soon. I want to ressurect the Jyuubi and unite everyone in the world under the rule of a dictator. So I want you to peacefully surrender the Jyuubi." Madara said making Shinya smile.

"You really didnt come here thinking I will accept that did you? Madara Uchiha?" Shinya questioned. "I knew you wouldnt accept but you would consider about others wont you? How long do you all plan on following an Otsutsuki like a dog? How many people have you lost to deviants? How many of you have seen your loved ones being eaten alive? Dont you think it all could have been stopped if the Jyuubi's powers were used?" Madara questioned back at everyone.

"Jyuubi is an uncontrollable beast. We have no way of knowing what would happen if that thing is left out." Tsunade spoke. "There is no way we are surrendering anything to you." Nawaki Senju said. "What do you say my fellow Uchiha? Do you also want to be like a dog wagging your tails for the Otsutsuki?" Madara asked and everybody's attention shifted to Fugaku who remained silent the entire time.

There was a thick tension in the air awaiting the reply of the Uchiha clan leader. The only ones who seemed to be calm were Shinya and Itachi. "You dont have any rights to talk when you betrayed the entire clan when you were supposed to lead them. We are not naive, you are the one who is foolish to think that any of us here would agree just because the truth is a little different from what we thought." Fugaku said looking straight at the masked man making him sigh heavily.

"Well.. this is an outcome I predicted that was bound to happen. So I hereby declare a war on all of you." Madara said making everybody's eyes widen. "You are not serious are you?" Nawaki asked. "I sure am. I will win this war after you die Shinya Otsutsuki. The next time we meet will be in the battle field." He said and disappeared without a trace.

There were murmurs among everyone present in the meeting hall which came to a stop when Shinya stood up. "First of all I would like to thank everybody." He said giving everyone a bow surprising them. "Despite knowing that I hid the truth from all of you, you still chose to stand by me and I am really grateful for that." Shinya said.

"We will always stand by you no matter what big brother Shinya." Naruto said to which everybody present there agreed bringing a smile to Otsutsuki's face. "So what do we do now?" Kushina Uzumaki asked. "We get ready and prepare ourselves for an all out war." The Otsutsuki replied, his voice firm and serious.

Inora was in the middle of a peaceful slumber when she received a phone call. She just declined the call continuing her beauty sleep but got irritated when she heard her ringtone again. She picked up the call without checking the caller ID. Before she could utter a word, she heard a familiar voice.

"The usual spot in 15 minutes."

Thats all she heard before the other person hung up. Inora was now wide awake realising who just called her. It was the same person who entered her apartment the day Shisui used his Kotoamatsukami on her. She looked at the time as it read 1.00am making her groan.

She dressed up as it was a little cold outside and left through her window since she didnt want to risk waking Mina. She reached the location in ten minutes and looked around to see and spotted the person she was looking for in the darkness. "You are early. Thats surprising." She heard the person speak making her roll her eyes.

"This better be good. If you woke me up in the middle of the damn night for no good reason, I am chopping you up into pieces." Inora spoke making the other chuckle. The person then started talking about the reason she was called here.

Inora had her back against the wall and her eyes closed taking in all the information she just heard. "A war eh? Sounds pretty interesting." She replied earning a chuckle from the other person. "Everything that involves huge amount of adrenaline and fight sounds interesting to you." The person commented making the brunette giggle.

"That maybe true." Inora replied with a smirk. "I actually miss seeing you in your natural hair colour." The person said as the moonlight kissed their skin making Inora touch her hair. "What? Does brown not look good on me? Should I dye my hair some other colour?" She asked suddenly feeling self conscious. "I didnt mean in it like that. Brown hair definitely suits you but just missing your original look, thats all." The person said making her smile.

They both sat in silence looking at the moon. "You are the trump card we have. If something were to happen to me, I want you to..." the person started talking only to be interrupted. "Nothing will happen to you. I promise that I wont let anything happen to you. I will crush everyone in our way." Inora replied sternly making the other person sigh heavily.

"Dont let emotions get the best of you and dont forget that you are a shinobi." The person said making Inora press her lips in a thin line. "Right. I know." She replied quietly thinking about everything that she has to face if she were to step on the battle field. Things sure are going to get interesting.
