Yuri POV
"You really love me?" I asked. We were sitting in the living room, eating pizza off of trays. Neither of us were bothered enough to cook.
"For the millionth time," Natsuki stuffed a slice of pepperoni pizza into her mouth and nodded, "Yes."
I picked at my fingernails and Natsuki pulled my hands away. "Sorry." I muttered. Picking the skin on my fingertips had become instinct. I chewed on another slice, "So, does that mean we're girlfriends?"
"If you want." Natsuki replied. I glanced at her.
"Do you want to be girlfriends?" I asked.
Natsuki smiled, "I want what you want."
"You just don't want to be the one to say we're girlfriends."
"So we are girlfriends!" Natsuki smirked.
I hesistated, "If you want that then yes."
"You're impossible!" Natsuki rubbed the space between her eyebrows becoming redder and redder. "Ok fine!" She sighed, "I want to be your girlfriend!" She glared at me, "Now you have to say that you want to be my girlfriend."
I blushed a little, "I want to be your girlfriend." I said, then broke into a smile. I leant forward and lightly kissed Natsuki on the nose. She looked so shocked I laughed.
"Eh- uu..." She blushed harder and crossed her arms. "Uh... do we tell the other about us?"
"We can't excatly keep it a secret..." I muttered. "Besides, they're not homophobic... I think..."
"Monika definately isn't." Natsuki said, "She told me she's pan. And Sayori would never-!" She shook her head, then nodded. "MC as well... I can't imagine him being homophobic... We should tell them."
I nodded, "Ok." I picked up my phone and started to facetime the whole group. Immediatly, Sayori picked up, then Monika and finally MC.
"What is it?" MC grumbled but Monika cut across him,
"Yuri are you alright? What happened?"
I glanced at Natsuki while the others bubbled over with questions. "I- I don't want to talk about that." I said, "But Natsuki has something important to say..."
"Why do I have to say it?" Natsuki hissed.
"Natsuki? Are you there I can't see-!" Sayori cried. Natsuki snatched my phone and swung it around so it faced her.
"Ok so..." Natsuki shifted a little so I could sit next to her, "Yuri and I... are girlfriends."
Sayori and MC dropped their phones with yells of delight and shock. Sayori dived down on top of it shrieking, while MC lifted it up, rubbing his nose which his phone had landed upon, grinning. Monika shrieked, and Sayori was screaming as she picked up her phone.
"OH MY GOD CONGRATS!" Sayori yelled.
"WELL DONE!" Monika exclaimed, "I- wow!"
"Nice one!" MC grinned.
"Thanks," I smiled. I knew they weren't going to judge us, but it was a relief that they were supportive.
We all talked for a bit, but MC had homework to do and Monika said something about her family. One by one, they left the call.
"Whew." Natsuki flopped down onto the cushions. "I was scared that y'know..."
"Yeah." I sighed, flopping down next to her.
Natsuki wriggled round to face me, "Now what?" She asked.
"Wh-" I struggled to understand what she was saying, "What do you mean?"
"I mean, do we go on dates or what?" Natsuki said, "I've never had a girlfriend before..."
"I assume its the same as having a boyfriend..." I mumbled, though I had never had a boyfriend so had no idea what to do.
"I've never had a boyfriend either." Natsuki grumbled.
"Oh..."
I thought for a moment. In all tne romance books I had read (which wasn't a lot) the two love interests would go to their 'special place'. But the only special place I could think of was the clubroom.
"M-maybe we could get a coffee or something?" I asked.
"Yeah alright." Natsuki jumped to her feet, "And you can tell me what you think of Death Note!"
We chatted as we walked along to the coffee. I told her that I did in fact like Death Note, and she teased me about it all the way to the shop, and afterwards when we got our drinks.
"I... tried another one of your mangas." I confessed, "Parfait girls. I didn't like it much."
"HUH?! BUT ITS THE BEST!" Natsuki yelled.
"I just..." I shrugged.
"Oh! I've heard if this magical girl anime called Madoki Magica! We should watch it! Please please pleeeeeaaase!"
I hesitated, "I don't really like magical girl animes..."
"No, it's different! It's scary! Or so I've heard... pleeeaaase!"
"Ok, ok..." I sighed.
Three hours later and we were both to shocked to speak.
"When they said it was scary I didn't think it would be like that..." Natsuki murmered.
"I loved it. Let's watch the next episode!" I cried.
"Eh... can we watch sometthing else? If this is the last thing I watch today then I'll get nightmares..." Natsuki grumbled, trying to sound tough but she was blushing with embarrassment.
"Ok..." I smiled and stroked her hair. She glanced up at me but didn't protest.
"Lets see... Parfait girls?" I asked. Natsuki nodded as the intro began to play.
Hey guys! I had some spare time so I decided to finish this chapter! I hope you enjoyed it :))
Have a nice day <33
