"Tommy?" Newt asked, playing with a daisy.
"Yeah?"
"Will you always be my friend?"
Thomas sat up. "Of course Newt. You're my best friend."
Newt smiled and kissed Thomas's cheek. "Here." He gave him the daisy. "Put it somewhere safe and you'll always remember me."
Thomas smiled and scooted closer to Newt and took his hand, leaning on his shoulder.
