Chapter 1: However You Look At It...

Kyung-hwa turns away from the big picturesque window of the giant condo and spins to Dami, Jeong-yeon and Ryu-jin. "You don't think they got lost in that field, do you? He swore this would be the best way."

"I don't care how you look at it, Kyung-hwa, it's still kidnapping," Ryu-jin states, putting her hands on her hips.

"He said that they willingly got in the car," Kyung-hwa remarks. "Willingly is different than forced."

"But he then drugged them with knockout gas so they wouldn't question..." Dami says. "That's not willing last I checked."

"So therefore, ipso facto, I return to my original comment: no matter how you look at it, it was kidnapping," Ryu-jin states.

"Okay, fine. But it worked, did it not?" Kyung-hwa says, folding her arms across her chest.

"Whatever," Jeong-yeon says, shaking her head. "Was what happened to us any better?"

"Not necessarily," Ryu-jin states. "We were tricked, they were tricked, I guess it's how they run things here on Jeju. So much for a vacation, geez."

Dami rubs her arm. "I can still remember the...scent..." She shudders at the thought and memory.

Kyung-hwa puts a hand on her shoulder. "Let's just go out and welcome them. Perhaps female faces will interest them?"

"Please, you just wanna meet Shin-won," Ryu-jin remarks with a smirk.

"And you don't wanna meet any of them?" Dami cocks an eyebrow at her. "I'd think you of ALL of us would want to."

"Funny." Ryu-jin puts her hands on her hips and shoots a look at Jeong-yeon. But she keeps her mouth shut.

"Well, they'll find us out sooner or later. I'd rather not keep them waiting any longer and we've all been through a lot. Last thing anyone needs here is a nasty surprise. Let's rip off the bandaid," Dami says.

"Fine with me!" Kyung-hwa clasps her hands together. "Let's go!" She and Dami happily skip to the door and throw it open.

Jeong-yeon looks at Ryu-jin. "Let's just go with them, okay?"

Ryu-jin nods, but slips her hand into Jeong-yeon's. They then walk to the door after the excited duo, who have both stepped outside of the small cottage. They pause in the door-frame, looking out at the scene before them.

In the distance, through a grassy-vine canopy, they can all see the group of men trudging through the meadow toward them.

"Oh...my..." Kyung-hwa's fangirl-pitched squeal suddenly echoes from a few feet ahead, out of the door. "He's more beautiful in person."

Dami puts a hand on her shoulder, her cheeks blushing bright pink. "Yeah...I agree...so ruggedly handsome..."

Jeong-yeon and Ryu-jin share a glance with one another.
