"The sun shall be turned to darkness

And the moon to red...

As once prophesied by the Bible.

Under a full blood moon

13 strangers will come together

On the Island of Jeju.

An event unlike any other will occur

A curse will rein supreme

Sacrifice shall be made

And they will not all leave."

A howl pierces the pitch darkness as the moon shines with a brilliant crimson color overhead. Suddenly the figure of a flying beast appears, crossing in front of it as a blood battle occurs below in a once peaceful meadow.

The beast's eyes lock on a single man, dressed in silver and black armor like a medieval knight, who is swinging around a shimming sword that is illuminated bright blue by magic. His long silvery-blond hair glistens under the moonlight. Parts of the blue are stained red with gore from the fight.

The man's eyes snap to the sky, spotting the beast as it circles and swoops low, coming right for him. "Jin Yong-sun, you traitor!"

The beast, a purple and black dragon lands in the grass a few feet away from the man, glaring at him. "Traitor? No. Not I. No. You are the traitor, bringing bloodshed and war to peaceful lands," the dragon hisses.

The man holds his ground, gripping tighter to the handle of his sword. "I will cut you down if you come any closer, monster."

The dragon stops and chuckles, a deep-throated sound full of amusement. "Monster? Me? Wrong again, young Mark Lee."

Mark shakes his head. "I never wanted this. You and I both know this."

Yong-sun glares at Mark. "And yet here we are..."

Mark's eyes narrow. "Yes, here we are."

Yong-sun glances up at the harvest moon. "Here's the deal, Mark Lee, should any idols like yourself cross unto the lands of Jeju during a full moon that shines as red as the one tonight, they shall be burdened with a curse. To break it and return things to peace once more, a sacrifice shall be made."

Mark unleashes a battle cry and swings his sword at the dragon. "You won't curse ANYONE!"

Yong-sun laughs as he lifts up into the air and away from Mark. "You'll have to try harder than that!"

Mark swings up at the beast one more time, before exhaustion settles in. He drops to the grass on all fours as Yong-sun flies away from the scene and disappears into the treetops of a thick forest.

The hour is up as the red glow on the moon fades away. So does the blue glow of Mark's sword. All around him, the gory carnage of the battle remains, however, there are no bodies. Mark's hands, stained red with blood, shakingly go up to his face.

What has he done?
