A shrill, echoing howl cuts through the clear afternoon air. As the group stands on the beach shoreline, a flash of black zooms and lands on Jeong-yeon's shoulder. "They're trying to eat me!!" a familiar voice cries out.
They all look to see a black bird, a raven, perched.
Of course, it had spoken from its beak.
Then there is a ferocious snarling, before two furry wolf-like creatures burst from the meadow grasses and skid to a halt in the sand a few feet from the group. They look like wolves, only they both have hair and bright colored eyes.
"Whoa! Look, Shinwonie, werewolves!" Kyung-hwa states.
"Yeah, the chances I get to see a unicorn have gone up tremendously!" Shin-won remarks.
"I wasn't going to eat you, Ravn!" one of the werewolves snarls, shaking its head. "It's just still very ironic that you're a literal raven." It sits back onto its hindlegs and curls its tail around its paws.
"I didn't know that when you lunged at me!" Ravn spreads his wings out. "If Yong-sun's coward dragon ass doesn't come out soon and end this curse, I'm going to turn into a Stephen King type of bird and peck his eyes out until he does!"
"Violent," Jeong-yeon gasps, trying to get Ravn into her eyesight.
"I'll bite him, cause he gave Taeilie a headache," Haechan hisses, flashing his canines at the black bird.
Ravn flinches and flies back toward the werewolves. "You could've told me you two were Seo-ho and Ryu-jin."
"I woulda thought you'd know your own bandmate," Seo-ho retorts with a pained yelp. "That hurts, Ravn."
"YOU didn't have to SNAP your jaws at me and exclaim, 'LUNCH!' - THAT hurts, Seo-ho-ah!"
"Jeong-yeon...?" the other werewolf gasps out.
"Ryu-jin-ah...? Um..." Jeong-yeon eyes her up and down, taking in her silvery furry pelt as she pads toward her on all four paws.
"Bad hair day, Ryu-jin?" Kyung-hwa chuckles, unable to help herself.
Ryu-jin snarls at her in response. "I'm going to rip off the guy's wings for making me this ugly!"
"You're not...ugly...to me..." Jeong-yeon mutters, her cheeks flushing red.
"So we're just missing Hak-nyeon, Dami, Jae-min and Jin-ho?" Shin-won says, surveying the present group. "Fairytale-d or not, everyone seems alive and okay at the moment."
"That's a relief," Kyung-hwa lightly laughs. "So where are those four?"
"I think you should be asking WHAT are those four at this point," Shin-won whispers to her, eyeing the werewolves (Seo-ho and Ryu-jin), raven (Ravn), mermaid-siren (Jeong-yeon), flower prince (Seung-kwan), vampire (Haechan) and Tae-il.
