Only silence followed as the three of us traveled. At least for the most part.
"Ugh, you two have to be the most boring travel companions!" Rowena complained once again. I laughed softly at her child like complaints. Vladamire, however had appeared to be clearly annoyed.
"How much longer?" The little girl huffed while crossing her arms.
"A day." The butler said bluntly. Earning another annoyed huff from the blonde behind us.
"You know, if you just used your vampiric speed-"
"No" He cut the girl off. Getting even more annoyed. Not that I would blame him. "We have already had this discussion before."
"Hmp, stupid vampire" She girl mumbled a little too loudly.
"So," I cut in hoping to start an actual conversation. "What are these meeting supposed to be like?" I asked Vladamire. The midnight haired teen made a thinking face.
"As any meeting with leaders would have I suppose." He stated. I shook my head still not knowing what a meeting with leaders was like. I was raised in a church after all.
"Basically, you sit around a round table with a bunch of snobby rich dudes." Rowena cut in. Not wanting to be left out of our first actual conversation during the entire four hours of traveling. Vladamire chuckled at the girls comment for once.
"Whats so funny?" Rowena suspiciously questioned. "You don't have a sense of humor." Vladamire looked back to glare at the girl. Who only shrugged in response. "What it's true right Marc?"
The butler crimsons eyes turned to look at me. I felt kind of anxious. Not really knowing how to answer.
"I uh, haven't really talked to Vladamire much..so I wouldn't really um know?" I asked sense a slight hardened gaze from the two.
"Ouch." Rowena commented. Making me feel worse about my comment. "You hear that vampire. That's what you get for constantly abandoning us in danger."
"Oh shut it mutt." Vladamire commented. Before offering me a small smile.
"Don't worry young master. I understand completely." The girl behind us suddenly squealed in delight. Something I thought that I would never hear from a person like her. The youngest ran to take a spot next to me before quietly whispering in my ear.
"Looks like he's flirting with you. You should confess your-"
"Doesn't Vladamire have super hearing?" I cut her off, whispering back.
Vladamire's eyes narrowed slightly towards us. Making me feel even more anxious.
"Oh right, I forgot about that." The blonde spoke back, sounding like she was lying. The little girl looked to the side. Her appearance looking slightly annoyed.
"Ugh, it's still following us." She hissed. I looked in the direction she was watching. I couldn't make out much due to the lack of moonlight.
"Just ignore it." Vladamire responded.
"As if" The girl hissed towards the butler. "Hey, stop following us." She called into the forest. I continued to watch where the girl was looking for any sign of movement. However I could not see any. "At least come out coward." She called out again.
