I watched as Eris lightly searched the large library. The girl moved with ease, and her expressions showed pure delight.
"So I'm guessing you like books?"
"Love them. To me there an escape into another world.. Or a way to learn about humans. I nodded. Eyeing the different covers.
"I love books to actually."
"Really, the great Dracula.. Reading?" I pouted my gaze avoiding hers. Earning a laugh. "Well, Dracula the reader.. Please help me find the book in which we are seeking."
"Of course." I began my search in the fantasy section. After all it was the obvious choice. But I found an hour of searching later that my suspicions were not correct."Any luck?" Eris called from the fiction section.
"No you?"
"No try.. Romance?"
"Why would a book about fallen angels be in the romance section?"
"You'd be surprised. After all you are such a hit with the ladies..."
" I..I'll try the um.. Non fiction section." The girl chuckled.
"Of course." As I strolled through the smallest section of the library. A feeling of being watched rushed through me. My gaze searched the small section however found nothing. Shaking my head and feeling far worse then before I found my eyes closing. Allowing nothing but darkness to cover the once bright world around me. Everything was still and dark until suddenly I could sense the presence of a tall vampire standing a few feet away, along with a Lycan who was hiding behind me around the entrance. I re opened my eyes to find two matching blood eyes staring at me from a few feet away as I had sensed.I let out a shaky breath. "Vladamir, you scared me." My hand moved to stop my beating heart. Just to prove my point The butler smiled softly.
"I apologize young master. I was only checking up on you... What are you looking for?"
"Tell him your looking for love." A small voice called from behind. Immediately I shrugged it off. "We're looking for a book about fallen angels." Vladamir cocked his head to the side. Allowing his neatly trimmed black bangs to reveal more of his expressive eyes. "We?"
"Yes Eris and I"
"Eris?"
"Yeah.."
"No you idiot don't tell him about her. Hurry up and confess."
"Would you be able to help?" I asked while sending a small glare in Rowena's direction."Of course." Without another word the butler turned and wandered out of the section. I let out a shaky breath, only to be suddenly whacked on the head.
"You idiot." The Lycan hissed. "You ruined the perfect moment to confess and now he thinks your dating that demon princess." I looked away.
"I don't want to confess and be turned down though..and besides I've only really known him for a few months." I mumbled earning another harsh wack.
"God you sound like a girl, no he likes you I know it now go and confess before I do it for you. And trust me, if I have to I'll make it as awkward as possible." She shouted before ruffly pushing me towards the direction that the butler went."W..wait how do you know he likes me?"
"Woman's intuition now man up." I let out a sigh before wandering through the endless book cases. Eventually I came upon Vladamir who was busy reading a book very intently. My heart began to beat in my ears as. I stepped closer to the older teen. Vladamir immediately shut the book. His eyes turning to stare at me."I'm afraid that was not the book. " I nodded. The raven haired boy nodded before turning to leave.
"Uhh Vladamire wait." I called after him. A small blush slightly dusting my cheeks, As he turned around I found myself hiding my face in my hands. 'God this is so embarrassing. Why did you make Rowena and I cross paths.'"Young master are you alright? Your face is turning red." I shook my head as I turned on my heel as an attempt to hide from the uneven gaze. 'Now or never. '
"That's not what... Um... I uh..." 'I Should have planned this out first...'
"Master?" 'Say something..'
"I uh... Well... Umm...' Foot steps echoed from behind me. Causing my shoulders to visibly tense. 'Come on, out with it before Rowena decides to take action.'"Honestly, you never change." My eyes widened as the butlers gloved hand landed on my should and turn my body to face him. I blinked before looking down to avoid his gaze.
The teen acted quickly. Within seconds his hand moved down to lift my chin up. As both our bloody eyes met time stopped. My heart skipped a beat as the butler stepped closer.
" You still don't know how take care of your self." 'Huh?'
"Huh? No.. Vladamire I'm not sick I..."
"Shh.. Let me finish." He whispered moving closer until our faces were barley separated by an invisible shield.
"You still don't know how to make good decisions for your self. To the point where even the mutt knows better then you." 'Wait what?'"Master I heard your previous conversion with the mutt." My eyes widened with my blush worsening by the second.
"Oh..." Was my only response.
"I'm quite sure the princess heard it too." My eye widened.
"Sorry if I..it bothers you. I..uh."
"Marc." He started. His eyes only showing a serious expression. "Do you love me?" My face lit up like a Christmas tree at this point. I was sure of it."Maybe..."
"Marc, answer honestly." I let out a shaking breath. Hoping that the rejection would end quick.
".......yes."Before I could blink Vladamire closed the distance between our mouths. My eyes widened as his lips moved from mine. Both his hands moved the cup my cheek.
"I love you to master Dracula." Before I could respond the distance was closed once again. My hands clutched onto his black coat. As my world began to spin."Dracula.. I found the book.. Oh hello." Immediately I pulled away from Vladamir's embrace and covered my mouth. My breath came out in short pants.
"Oh good.. Uh we're did you find it."
"Oh the romance section." My jaw dropped. "So now all we need to do is plan our next course of action."I stepped away from Vladamir and moved to look over the book. Eris giggled at my actions. Which I shrugged off. "So any ideas?"
Vladamir smiled before turning to leave. 'Don't leave me!' My mind shouted. Earning a smug look from Eris.
"So, what's going on?"
"Nothing... Um about what you just saw..."
"Don't worry I love forbidden relationships. They make the best books. My lips are sealed... Now about our plan I was thinking about a little ambush. You up for it?
