I jumped back as Wadim rushed foreword. The white haired teen sent a spine chilling smile towards me. Making even me, the great Dracula feel frightened. To my luck his grasp barley missed me.
"Little prince, hold still!" He complained while reaching towards me again. I snorted.
"As if, the last thing I want is your germs all over me." Wadim chuckled before using his speed to catch me off guard. As I tried to avoid his sudden change in tactics I slipped and fell. Causing a large pain to course through me from the fall. Ignoring it I tried to stand once again, only to fall again.
"Crap." I hissed as Wadim watched me curiously. His deep violet eyes glistening in the moonlight.
"Oh my, little prince your hurt." He whispered, as he stepped towards me. Making sure not to startle his prey.
"Obviously." I hissed at him while trying to back up. I growled as he reached my personal space. I tried to show my fangs, hoping it would scare it off.
"Now, now." He tsked while reaching towards me. "You are not an animal." Glaring towards the halfling I tried to move back once again. Only to find a stone cold wall. His frozen hands lightly touched my shoulder. Causing me to slapping his hand away. Ignoring my outburst, the teen ruffly grasped onto my shoulders and easily pulled me into a choking hold. I struggled to no avail. His grip tightened.
"I'm so happy you came." He whispered into my ear. Forcing shivers to run up and down my spine. "Now we can be together."
"Please, you know that's not why I came. " The white teen's grip tightened.
"I know why you came, however." He started while pushing me back to stare into my eyes. "I'm afraid that I'm the only one who knows where the cure is." I narrowed my crimson eyes at him. Which he easily ignored.
"The deal is the same as before, you for the cure." I tensed. 'If I stall long enough the mutt will show up to my rescue.' Believing that plan was full proof I looked off the side. Waiting patiently for the girl to jump out of nowhere and attack the thing in front of me.
"You don't have a lot of time." Wadim warned. "No point in wasting it for a sudden rescue." He cleared his throat. As an attempt to earn my full attention. "I know you came in a group Dracula, don't you think I would have a plan for you sudden appearance." My eyes widened as I turned to look at the creature in front of me. Who only offered a small smirk. "I know you too well my love. I knew you would bring the mutt and the hunter along. I have at least two hundred men posted to attack the two if they even step a foot inside the mansion. Now." He hissed while reaching down to lift my body up bridal style. "Time is ticking, if you keep waiting like this. The disease in Vladamire's body will become too strong for the medicine to work." He mocked while making his way towards two large doors. "What is your decision."
'He's bluffing.' I thought as we continued to walk through the doors and into a dark hall. 'There's no way i'm that predictable! Besides, the hunter can handle two hunter halflings i'm sure of it. Van Helsing is stronger than he looks. Rowena isn't easy to defeat either. But I need to get the curse as soon as possible. If I agree maybe he will take me to the cure, giving the mutt and her companion enough time to come to my rescue. Right?' My thoughts raced as Wadim stopped in front of an old decaying door.
"Little prince?" He questioned while watching me curiously. Immediately I snapped out of my thoughts, ignoring the sudden strong stare held against me. "Do you agree to the terms?" He questioned in a soothing voice. Not trusting my voice I nodded. Almost instantly regretting my decision I watched as a large smile, not a smirk, but an actual smile form on his lips. I shuddered. 'Why did I turn this guy again?'
With ease the boy opened the large door to reveal a dusty room full of coffins. 'What the hell? Is he going to kill me?' Wadim laughed silently at my reaction.
"Relax" He whispered, as his cold breath blew over my face. " I would never hurt you. I keep the cure in here." I nodded before deciding to keep an act up.
"What do you collect dead body's or something?" I joked, easily catching him off guard. "No, I keep these here for emergencies.
"Please, that's a stupid reason." Wadim only shook his head before setting me slowly on the ground.
"Don't move" He warned before heading off to some random coffin. I looked out the small window, taking notice of the setting moon.
"How long, does he have exactly?" I asked. Only earning a sigh in return. "You have until the sun rises" I nodded. Making sure to keep a watchful eye on my captor. Who knows that he could do to me. My eyes narrowed at the sight of a small potion like object. Without thinking, I stood up and attempted to grab the cure. Only to have it skillfully pulled away and held at a height I wouldn't be able to reach. I glared at the teen. Only earning a glare back.
"Not so fast."
"I agreed to you silly terms, now hand the cure over."
"Do you think i'm stupid little prince?" He hissed forcing my gaze to change to a slightly fearful one. Wadim shook his head. "I know you're going to make a run for it. I will have one of the other halflings take the medicine to the butler. ""I highly doubt they would do that." Wadim took a step towards me, forcing me to take a step back.
"You will just have to hope they will follow orders then~" He teased while continuing our game of cat and mouse. As a last hopless attempt to escape I harshly pushed the teen. Easily catching the potion I watched as the other's body broke one of the surrounding walls. Forcing some of it to collapse and break. Instead of waiting to see the damage I had caused to the vampire I rushed out of the room and towards the last place I had seen Rowena.
"Dracula!" Wadim's voice screeched behind me. Ignoring the horrifying scream I began to pick up my speed. It was out of pure luck that a hand had reached out to pull me into one of the rooms. Listening intently, I heard the sound of Wadim's feet pounding against the stone floor. Eventually the sound of his footsteps faded to nothing, allowing me to let out a sigh of relief.
"Did you get the cure?" Asked my savior. I nodded as my eyes caught sight of Van Helsing. "Good, next time don't make so many halflings." I shrugged.
"I had no idea I had created so many. I have been alive for six hundred years after all." Helsing only shook his head.
"You say it as if you don't feel bad."
"Not really." Silence followed as the mans glare hardened.
"I have to say, I was surprised that you wanted to save, that butler of yours. I thought you were one truly heartless demon. "
"It was my fault. I have to help him!" I shouted without thinking. Surprising the haunter. Shaking my head I handed the strange liquid to the hunter."Make sure you give it to him." I whispered. Earning a nod in response.
"I am a man of my word. I'm surprised you are as well."
"Whatever, just try to make it painless." Helsing nodded before pulling out two large silver bullets. I sighed and closed my eyes preparing for eternal darkness.
"You know." He started while setting up the gun. "You really aren't as bad as I thought. Maybe in your next life we could be friends."
"Tch, you're making this way too corny." I waited. Without noticing the door open to revel a very angry looking wadim.
"Little prince!" He shouted causing the bullet to miss my heart and sending nothing but complete pain through me. Re opening my eyes I fell back. While letting out long gasps. Wadim, looked over towards me with small tears in his eyes. Before changing into complete anger. The vampire lunged to the hunter catching him off guard and sending the two toppling out of my sight.
"Dracula!" Rowena shouted while rushing to my aid. Ignoring the girls attempt to stop my wounds I reached for the cure and threw it towards her.
"Hurry give it the Vladamire." I shouted, while taking notice of my fading vision. The lycan was reluctant. However, after realizing the state I was in, she sighed to left. Before I knew it, my breathing stopped along with all feeling through my body. Only darkness surrounded me.
