I ran as fast as I could. Not caring about the destination. All I knew, was the twins were most likely hot on my trail. I did not want to be killed. Or worse, punished by father. Horrifying memories ran through my mind, matching my quickened pace. I remembered the time I had tripped and broke one of the glass cups placed ever so neatly by the window. Once father had discovered my mistake, he locked me in the chapel. Claiming that I had committed a great sin against God, and that I must pray for an entire day straight followed by cleaning the entire church in order to receive his forgiveness.
"Marc." A hushed voice called out to me. I checked over my shoulder to make sure I wasn't being followed before looking for the source of the voice. Frantically, I searched everywhere. However had no such luck. At least not until my mismatched eyes landed on a vampire blonde vampire standing with his arms crossed as my reflection. I blinked before moving closer towards the vampire.
"Man, it's been a while. Who knew we would meet once again under such 'circumstances.' But then again, at least it's not that stalker were dealing with." I nodded, while attempting to catch my breath.
"Geez, you look like your about to die. You were using your vampire speed. Not running a marathon." I looked up at him once, questionably before looking around once more. Feeling slightly agitated about what I had just gone through.
"Right, anyways I need to have a small chat with you."
"Huh? About what?" Dracula shook his head once while unfolding his arms. Allowing his long midnight cape to flow farther down his knees.
"What do you mean about what? That insane priest. Hes far worse then that half-ling cult combined with Wadim and your...family." Chills ran up my spine remembering my last encounter with the deceased white haired demon.
"I plan on stopping father. What he's doing is wrong." Dracula snorted.
"Obviously, even i'm not as cold as that catholic. However, your not nearly as strong enough or as prepared to fight those twins. They may not look it, but I know for a fact they have some pretty destructive weapons."
"What about the leaders for that meeting I'm going to? Surely, they will be able to defeat them."
"I don't know if you've noticed, but hello? Crosses, sunlight, garlic? Plus we may not get there in time." I nodded. Noticing Dracula was feeling slightly agitated. "Looks like were about to have another war." He mumbled. I ignored his last comment knowing that he did not have time to explain it.
"So what do you want to do?" I questioned moving closer to my reflection.
"Well..I need full control of your body." My mind went blank.
"W-wait..what?"
"You heard me human, I need control."
"B-but don't you have full control already? I'm your reincarnation right?" Dracula sighed while rubbing his forehead.
"That's not what I meant. How to put this for someone so simple minded? We are half of the same soul. As your memories return another part of you changes, allowing me to slowly connect with you. As you've noticed with your eye and...interesting hair color. Meaning you slowly pick up on my personality and my actions. Sort of like a replica of me. I basically have full control after a while." I looked away.
"So you posses me?"
"No, ugh." Dracula held his arms up in a childish way to show how dramatic he intended this situation to be. "You become me, or old you. The only reason you turned out, differently was because of how you were raised and your lack of memories. However if I take over your conscious. Your new memories will slowly be pushed away allowing the old ones from my life to take over at a faster pace. Changing your personality to match mine, and while your going down in memory lane. I will take over and handle everything else until you come back. Understand now human? Or.. vampire." I nodded.
'Should I really do this?' I questioned. Ignoring the mirrors hard stare. 'If I do this, my personality will change. I wont be me anymore. No it don't matter.' I shook my head at my inner turmoil.
"Nollaf there he is, go left and I will go right."
"We'll close him off." I looked up to see the twins racing towards me. Silver swords and crosses at hand and glistening in the moon light.
"Hurry up slow poke." Dracula hissed. 'If this is what it will take to save hundred of lives, I have no choice.'
"Alright, I give you full control."
"There he is, Marc." Rowena called towards me, before the world around me began to spin. Causing my balance to be thrown off.
"Young master!"
"Vladamire.." I called out before complete darkness surrounded my vision.
