I walked through the large group of people. All were trying to watch as yet another creature of the night was being 'tortured for their sins.' I snorted at the idea. 'What a bunch of hypocrites. There no better than me.' I sent bored looks around the surrounding people. Taking notice of their similar expressions. Some were laughing, while others grew horrified. I only shrugged their lack of human expressions off. Not really wanting to focus on such boring creatures. However, once my eyes were able to make out the poor unfortunate soul being killed off, my heart, if I still had one. Immediately stopped. There in front of me, was the man, or teen who had saved me around fifty years ago. I remained still, thinking about my promise made to the boy. I smirked deciding to have at least some fun while I rescued the teen.

"Hey, whats going on here?" I yelled. Causing all the humans in front of me and in at least three feet of me to back away in fear.

"Were punishing this demon." The priest called back. However once his eyes landed on my cold blood colored ones, his body froze in place. I pouted.

"That's not very nice." I mumbled while making my way closer to the dying demon. The priests once frozen state was suddenly replaced with seeping anger.

"What's not very nice is what this, this thing has done." He argued back while throwing almost an entire bottle on the raven like teen. I shook my head.

"And what did he do?"

"He killed many innocent people for his own personal gain." I put my hands under my chin in a thinking position.

"I see, and this was for food correct?"

"Well yes bu-"

"But it's the same thing you humans do. You all eat cows am I correct?" I teased, earning a few angry grumbles and whispered. Ignoring them I walked foreword and bent down to face the vampire.

"My names Dracula." I started. Taking notice of the remembering gleam in his eyes. "Today i'm going to pay back my debt." Before I knew it, the demon vampire had sank his fangs into my skin. All I could do before blacking out from lack of blood was watching as the teen spread his black wings.

After what felt like only a few minutes my eyes were able to slowly open. However it was only for a few seconds with sleep still attacking my conscious. I moved in the teens arms slightly, trying to get in a more comfortable position.

"I see you got away safely." I whispered. While trying to fight off the threatening sleep. I heard a deep chuckle in response.

"I guess were even now." I continued, not wanting to fall asleep once again.

"Yes we are.." His deep voice responded. I sighed.

"Too bad, I wanted to stick around you a little longer." I mumbled before allowing the persistent sleep take over.

--------------------Time skip; A few hundred years-------------

I wandered around town with Vladamire close by my side. My eyes looked around and watched as many humans ran around frantically.

"Towns so loud today." I started. Not feeling particularity worried of fazed. Vladamire nodded.

"I wonder whats going on?" I shrugged

"Probably saw their own shadows for the first time and mistaken it for a vampire. " The butler looked over towards me, sending an amused look towards my direction.

"Young master, you really mustn't think so lowly of humans. After all if I remember correctly you wanted to be one a few hundred years ago." I looked away from his gaze.
