*River's POV*

I guess most of us except for Kat, Toga and Shigaraki got the shit knocked out of us during the whole thing. None of us were hurt too bad, according to Kat Compress was nursing a concussion from essentially headbutting Mt. Lady and Magne had some small but deep wounds on her that needed some fixing up from Kat. The rest of us are just banged up and bruised. We were taken to some old warehouse on the outskirts of a small town and from what bits and pieces Kat was able to tell us we were basically on our own for now as a League.

The first day there we weren't able to do much. After I was recovered enough I spent a lot of the time looking around the warehouse and thinking about our new living situation. Everything that we all owned has been left behind, destroyed or confiscated back at the old hideout so we really only had the clothes on our backs. Kat spent a lot of the time either making sure everyone was recovering or attempting to talk to Shigaraki. I say 'attempt' cause it seems that he's been in his own world since we got here and normally it wouldn't be a huge deal for me but it seems to be upsetting her the longer he ignores everything.

Me and Spinner are looking through the strewn about boxes in the building, trying to find anything we can use to make things easier for us, the first priority being food and water for everyone. I make crowbars for the both of us and for every box we pry open we're just greeted with disappointment after disappointment; useless crap that we couldn't use. I open up the last box and when I dump it out onto the floor it's only filled with building materials.

"Dammit!" I couldn't help my volume as I threw the crowbar onto the ground, a loud clanging sound ringing out in the room before both it and the one in Spinner's hand disappear. I can't help it as I crouch down, holding my head in my hands trying to quell this frustration rising in me. I feel Spinner come down to my level and he puts a hand on my back; for some reason this made me feel a bit better.

*sigh* "Sorry. It's just...this whole situation sucks. I...I didn't think I'd be back to this again, let alone my little sister too now. I promised myself that wouldn't ever happen." A feeling of shame comes over me and I couldn't even look in Spinner's direction as I got up again, heading back towards where everyone was. I was gonna tell him but...that shame kept my mouth shut. I didn't want him to know how I was before I was a pro-hero even though I knew that he would never judge me for it, he'd probably understand.

I sit a bit away from everyone, thinking about what we could do now. My eyes immediately catches onto Kat, who was trying once again to talk to Shigaraki. And once again it seemed like he was shutting her out and I could see it was hurting her. I could feel myself getting more stressed out and at this point I had to do something before I went completely insane. I get up and walk over to where Toga, Twice and Magne were all talking together, placing a hand on Toga's shoulder.

"Let me ask you something: how good are you at shoplifting?"

*Kat's POV*

River, Toga and Compress all went out to get us some stuff we'll need. I'll admit it cheered me up a bit seeing River insist to Compress to 'dress normally for once' when they go out and him trying to argue back. While they were gone I tried to hang out with Magne and Twice but my mind was in a whole other place and I ended up tuning them out. I couldn't help but to keep glancing over where Tomura was sitting on his own, still not saying anything to anyone. The concern I was feeling for him was just growing to the point where I could feel it in the pit of my stomach and the fact that nothing I was saying or doing seemed to be helping was making that feeling worse.

I was about to get up to go check on him again when I was stopped by Magne, who sat me down back next to her again.

"Maybe give him some time to himself, dear. We're all a little messed up from everything that happened and we need time to fix ourselves up. When he's ready he'll probably start opening up to you again." She puts an arm around me as she talking about seemingly random things, probably to try and help me get my mind off everything and honestly it was helping a bit already. I leaned into her more to get comfortable and next thing I knew I fell asleep.
