Freddy protected the child, he carried him forwards. Past Chica, past Monty, past the cameras. He was convinced no one knew Gregory was with him.
Freddy had to make the nightmare disappear.
But along side them, he also had to disappear. He was faulty. One day he would too hurt the small boy and he dreaded it.
Once Freddy had the boy in the most safest location (which Freddy deemed was the Bonnie bowling alley), the placed the boy down.
'Superstar. What are your plans to leave?'
Gregory looked up to the bear, bundled up in his blanket.
'I was thinking I would leave once it hits 6am? The doors would open, right?'
Freddy checked his system.
'It would seem so. But there's danger everywhere around here superstar. Say... what if I forced open the doors for you?'
'Would you?' Gregorys face lit up, just as it did it fell once more.
'But I have nowhere to go..'
'What if I give you the location to the nearest orphanage? I'm sure they'd take you in.'
Gregory looked at bear, dumbfounded.
'Seriously? Are you trying to get rid of me? If my parents didn't want me, what makes you think someone else would?'
The bear didn't answer.
'Freddy. Did I do something wrong?'
'No! Of course not. I'm afraid that I won't be able to aid you for as long as I thought I would be.'
'Are you corrupted like them?'
'Not yet.'
'So what's the problem then?'
'I will be corrupted soon. I can hear her in my mind superstar. I don't want to hurt you.'
Gregory moved closer to the wall and hid into his blanket.
'So you'll hurt me like they did?'
Freddy did not answer.
Gregory took the silence as the answer to the question he had asked.
'I will force the doors open for you. Once you leave, I will shut the place down along with myself.'
