Freddy had made his way to El Chips with the little boy in his arms. All cuddled up and bundled up as if he were some sort of gift. Which he was. At least to Freddy he was.
A little gift, a bundle of joy in the face of a dark reality.
Even though they had met hours ago, Freddy put all his trust into the little child.
Maybe it was something that was a bad idea, there was too much responsibility put onto the child. But Freddy wanted to have someone to trust, even if it was a child.Freddy walked and gently placed the boy on a chair.
"Superstar? Are you sleepy?"
Gregory hummed and looked at the metal bear sleepily.
The bear wiggled his little ears, he couldn't resist the cuteness of the little boy. He had to protect him.
"Are you allergic to anything? I'll go grab you some snacks."
"No... I want to go with you... I'm scared that the bots will chase me again"
Freddy opened his hatch and got a little watch out.
"Take this superstar. You can talk to me through this. Press the middle button and I'll come running to you"
Gregory took the little watch and put it on his wrist.
"Thank you Freddy!"
Gregory looked over his new watch. He had never had something like this before, it was a new experience for him. A watch. A watch his friend gave him.
Is this what it was like to be loved and cared for?
"I'll be off now, I'll be close by I promise"
The little boy nodded and lay his head on the small, round table.
The metal bear made his way off to look for some snacks for the child. Grabbing bottles of water and sandwiches along with little packets of animal crackers and storing them away in his little hatch.
Freddy really hoped the little boy would like all the things he brought him. The giant variety of food and snacks would be enough to feed the boy for about a week.
Freddy told himself he had to spoil the little boy. He had to love him and show him what it was like to be loved and cared for.
Freddy would be his little superstars carer.
