The little boy slept, and as he did the two animatronics watched over him as if though he were fragile goods.

"What is he doing here after closing hours?"

Freddy shrugged as his ears wiggled.

"He's homeless, I think he came in to seek shelter"

The sun animatronic brought the boy closer to him. Even if he was a heap of metal, he felt a sort of sympathy towards the boy. He had no home to return to.
All the other kids at his daycare always had someone, he never knew what he would do if a kid was left with no parent after hours, but now he had to know. He had to help him.

"Freddy, you know that eventually the lights will go out right..."

The bear nodded.

"I'll take Gregory and leave"

"No. Keep him here. Tie Moon up and make sure he doesn't touch the little flower"

Freddy nodded.

"If I see that Moon left even a scratch on the boys body, I will kill him"

Freddy was taken aback.

"Maybe not kill him.. just talk to him and have a go.. killing him is way too far"

"But-"

"Gregory would be scared"

The sun animatronic stood down and nodded, holding the boy close.

And just like that, the lights went out. The sun animatronic entered a panicked state as Freddy gently took Gregory and lay him down.
The bear went and found some rope, but it was far too late.

Far, far too late.
