Gregory was in a pickle. Chica was out and about. He was sure that his frantic shouts for Freddy was the thing that beckoned Chica towards his location.
'Gregoryyyyy', the metal chicken called out.
If she found Gregory, it would be game over. He hadn't yet fully recovered from Moon, Chica would only do worse.
The Fazmap had done nothing, it had given him no clues. Not a single hint as to where his bear friend could or would be. He would either have to wait it out, in silence, in the cold, all alone. Or, he would have to venture out, quietly and carefully, to look for the bear who was his safety bubble.
Gregory peeked out, checking to see if Chica was roaming near. She stood still. Back towards the photo booth. Gregory was not in her line of sight. He'd have to carefully squeeze past to get away from her and start searching once more.
And so he did, carefully getting out and checking his surroundings, Gregory squeezed past, aiming off further away from Chica. Once he thought he was in the clear, he legged it. As fast as he could.
It had been no problem, thinking that he was in the clear. Aside from Chica, who else would target him? Who else would be the problem?
Two and two did not add together. And within seconds, he had been grabbed, by someone who he had wanted nothing to do with.
