Gregory watched the bear in awe. Shut the place down? And himself? Freddy was going to be gone forever?
"You can't be evil forever right? You've been good so far so you can always snap out of it right?"
"Unfortunately I'm not sure Superstar.."
Gregory watched the bear. His mind already made up.
"I'm not leaving. If it means I have to leave you behind, I'm not leaving."
Freddy knelt down by the boy.
"You have to, this place is not safe for you."
"I don't want to!" The little boy shot up from the ground.
"You're going to leave me too?! Like my parents did? Like everyone else did?! You're just like everyone else!"
The boy began to hit the bear with his small arms, obviously no damage had been done since the boy was tiny and soft compared to the metal and hard animatronic.
"You're so cruel!"
The bear gently stopped the boy, careful as to not hurt him.
"Superstar, that's not what I meant.."
"What did you mean!? Do you hate having me around is that it?"
It gradually escalated. Freddy didn't know how to quell the large anger within the small body.
"I don't want to hurt you.."
"That's what they all said! And now look at me! I'm alone in a locked building with animatronics out to kill me!"
"Gregory, listen to me.."
The boy gave the bear one last hit, right across the hatch that he had called his home. And so he made a run for it. He ran away from the bear, leaving the metal body stranded alone.
