32 teams, 1 family

the weeks flew by fast and it was nearly time for the first game of the season; chiefs vs jaguars.

i've avoided patrick at all costs. knowing that he told his girlfriend i flirt with him, hurt me. i never did such thing. i seriously thought we could be friends but i guess not.

joe went back to LA the day after the ball. he wasn't allowed to miss anymore school so that's why he left.

i was sad. i liked having him here and i could tell the team and the squad liked him too.

the jaguars were our first team to versus. jacksonville was interesting. i kind of picked up the way they played since my dad versed them so many times.

chiefs are definitely going to win.

i walked onto the field, putting on my beats as i began doing some stretches. everyone was spread out, just working with themselves.

i spotted the girls and waved at them. they waved back before walking over to me, "hey girl," gabriella said, downing her water.

"hey what are we going to do today?" i asked, pausing my song on my phone.

"practice our routine," lea stated, sternly, "we need to get it down. the game is in two days."

"roger that." i said with a smile.

i followed the girls to the corner of the field, across from where the boys were practicing. my eyes lingered to patrick who was wearing a tank top. he was throwing balls at a net while listening to music.

i smiled sadly at the sight of him.

should i talk to him? i feel bad.

i quickly looked away when he looked over at me. of course that happened.

gabriella started off practice with some stretching. i stood next to lea and emma, loosening up real good.

then we started our cheer.

boom boom boom

yeah yeah yeah

*crack*

i landed on my foot, after doing my flip in the air and i stumbled back a little, wincing, "shit," i cursed at the sight of my foot.

it was swollen real bad.

"oh my god, julie," gabriella rushed to my side, her eyes widening at the sight of my messed up foot, all the other girls huddled around me too.
