it was the following week after the game against the colts and i was one happy camper. i got my boot off! HELL YEAH!
i walked onto the field, a smile on my face as i listened to music. the doctor did tell me to take it easy and to also wear a bandage.
i placed down my beats along with some of my things on the sidelines and headed over to the squad.
"look who has no boot!" i shouted as i approached the girls, pointing at my leg.
my three friends all screamed and ran to me, giving me a big hug. we all laughed as we pulled away, "sis you look hella good this morning." gabriella stated, wrapping her arm around me.
i smiled at her, "i feel good. i mean, i can finally cheer again."
"hell yeah you can," gabriella grinned.
"just be careful, julie," lea said, placing a hand on my arm with a smile, "we don't need you hurting yourself again."
"don't worry," a voice said from behind me, i turned and smiled at the sight of patrick as he wrapped an arm around my shoulders, "i won't allow her to get hurt again."
i looked away from him and smiled, my cheeks turning a slight red as i bit my lip, "thanks bodyguard," i joked, making him laugh.
"just doin' my job," he sent me a wink before joining travis in center field.
i sighed in admiration while the girls squealed, "when are y'all gonna make it official?" gab questioned, crossing her arms.
i shrugged with a sigh, "im not sure. i mean, aren't we not allowed to date the players?" i asked emma and she nodded with a frown.
"that's total bullshit," gabriella rolled her eyes, turning toward me, "it's dianes fault for putting us on a team with hot ass boys." she glanced at travis, smiling at the sight of him, "i mean, look at him."
"you're not wrong," emma commented, earning a cold glare from gab, "just saying," emma held her hands up in defense making me laugh slightly.
"you're so in love with him," i smiled at my friend before saying, "why don't you make a move?"
"because he doesn't like me back," she stated seriously with a sigh.
"now that's some total BS," i said while laughing, "he definitely has something for you."
my comment made gabriella smile, "you think?" she asked me, i could hear the excitement in her voice.
i nodded before replying, "the girls all see it. even patrick sees it."
"and patrick sees everything," emma added, making the two of us laugh.
"i don't know, guys."
i seriously couldn't believe gabriella thinks travis doesn't like her. they fr have some chemistry going on with each other and she needs to make a move.
