the drive to whitehouse texas was long, hella long. 10 god damn hours. patrick and i took turns driving throughout the trip, only to make it fair.
i did not want him driving all night with no sleep.
i was getting really nervous. i mean, my leg would not stop bouncing up and down. though, when patrick put his hand on my thigh to help comfort me, i felt better immediately.
the two of us decided to stop at one of the gas stations to get some food and drinks since it was 11 in the morning and to also get some gas.
"want me to get the stuff?" i asked him, pulling out my card. he sent me a smile, "yeah, i'll fill up the tank."
i nodded and got out of the car, heading over to the shop. i walked up and down the long aisles as i scanned the shelves. i decided on blue gatorade with animal crackers and blue dortios.
for patrick, i got him a red gatorade along with chips and beef jerky.
i quickly paid then joined back up with patrick who was waiting for me. i held up the bag with a smile and he laughed, "i got you beef jerky," i said, pulling it out of the bag and handed it to him.
"you know me so well," patrick smiled, planting a quick soft kiss on my lips.
oh how i love this boy.
we were now only 15 minutes away from his parents house and my nerves were shot. this was really happening, im meeting his parents, oh my god!
after the 15 minutes went by, we finally arrived at patrick's parents house at 11:31 on the dot. patrick pulled the car into the driveway and parked before looking at me with a smile, "here we are."
"here we are," i sighed, glancing at the beautiful house through the window shield.
patrick smiled once more as he exited his car. i followed his lead and got out as well, joining his side.
i grabbed a hold of patrick's hand as we began walking to the door of the house. my heart was pounding, i was so nervous.
"are you nervous?" patrick asked me with a smile as we came closer to his parents front door. i nodded and looked up at him, "yeah, i am." i admitted.
