many many weeks have passed and it was now the middle of october. the boys had a game this weekend against the colts.
the colts are a pretty good team so i'm hoping our chiefs win.
i'm still not allowed to cheer. i got my boot a few days ago and it's freaking annoying but at least my ankle is halfway better!
it's friday night and i was chilling on my couch on a facetime call with joe. i could tell he was really tired, "you look tired, baby, i'll let you go."
he shook his head and rolled over on his side, his entire face was on my screen, "no, stay on please."
i nodded with a smile, "okay."
i stayed on with him for another hour until he actually had fallen asleep. i didn't hang up on him since we always fall asleep with each other on facetime.
the couch was my bed tonight. i quickly brushed my teeth and locked up before laying down on the couch with joe resting on my table.
i was slowly falling asleep when i heard a knock at my door. i glanced at the time; 2:30am, who would be knocking at this time?
i wrapped the blanket around me and walked over to the door, unlocking it before opening it, "mom?" i asked at the sight of my mother.
she smiled and threw her arms around me, "hi honey!"
"it's 2 in the morning, what are you doing here?" i asked once we pulled away from the hug.
"are you not going to let us in?"
"huh?"
my mother moved to the side and my mouth dropped at the sight of my two siblings, clarie and brandon.
immediately, i pulled them into a hug, "i didn't know you guys were coming to KC." i said as i welcomed them into my apartment.
"we wanted to surprise you," clarie smiled, giving me another hug.
