birthday parties

being pregnant is the absolute worst. all i did was throw up, get random food cravings and be nauseous every single day.

i hate it, so much.

patrick has been amazing though. he's always there keeping an eye on me at practice. he always gets me food when i don't even ask for any. he's the best. i cant wait to marry him.

some nights, the two of us stay up really late and think of baby names. it's a habit now. for a boy we have brayden lavon or luke lavon. for girl we have laia marie or angelina rose.

but my life has been really changing lately and it's scary. i know that's what life is but can it for once just stop?

"what's on your mind?" patrick's voice interrupted my thoughts as we laid in bed, my head laying on his chest while his hand rested on my growing stomach.

"life," i answered, smiling when his lips touched my head, "us in this life we've created."

"do you like the life we've created?" he asked curiously, his big hands now playing with my hair.

"of course i do, you're the best thing that's ever happened to me, patrick," a laugh left my lips as patrick began tackling me with kisses all over my face and neck.

our little moment is ruined when my lego ninjago ringtone goes off. patrick groaned into my neck and shut his eyes as i leaned over with a laugh and answered the call without even looking at the name.

"hello?" i held the phone to my ear.

"get your ass out of bed, julianna! do you know what time it is girl!" gabriella shouted from the other side, sounding pretty stressed.

"no. what's the rush, gab? it's saturday," i smiled at patrick who stood from the bed, facing me with a playful pout.

"it's my birthday! remember?"

my eyes widened as i sat up, snatching patrick's phone from him. the date read may 12th. oh fucking lord, i completely forgot it was her birthday.

"yes yes of course i remembered," i covered the speaker and whispered to patrick, "did you remember that it was gab's birthday today?"

the same reaction i had moments before was now on his face as he pulled on a shirt, "i completely forgot, julie," he innocently smiled.

"look, just meet at travis' house at 2. do not be late!" she yelled before hanging up. my mouth hung open in shock, she just hung up on me.

"well i guess we should get ready," i sighed before rolling out of bed, taking a minute to get myself together. i've been getting lightheaded very easily. patrick noticed and stood by my side, his hand on my back, "you good?"

"yeah," i smiled at him before planting a kiss on his lips, "go get dressed now."

patrick playfully sighed as he walked over to his side of the closet and pulled out jeans and a shirt before walking into the bathroom, all mad and shit which was making me laugh, "quit laughing, alright? sorry i wanted a peaceful day with my fiancé'."
