Hours had passed and eclipse was here. You were worried. All 4 kids were held captive. They made small hissing sounds every now and then while you sat on a log, chin in your hands.
"What is it?" The colonel asked. You looked up to him and rolled your eyes.
"What is it?" You asked back, almost spitting in his face. "What the bloody hell do you think...these are kids that are no older than me and have done nothing wrong you idiot." You said standing up and walking away from him.
You walked around the area. Looking at how the night sky made the plants light up in their own way. Even your skin lit up. You found a small stream and sat by it. You looked at it carefully and found the water was safe to drink. You cupped your hands and bent down so as not miss any of the water.
You dropped down onto your knees, sitting on your legs. You looked around and admired everything. Not a care in the world. At least till you heard something. Or someone. A real Na'vi. Probably the kids mother or father. They were making calls. You stood up quietly and slowly. You didn't want to be caught.
You turned around and soon heard yelling, screaming and gunshot. You ran the way you came and saw a dead man in front of you. Looking up you saw the kids all running. Out the corner of your eye, you saw someone holding an axe. You turned towards them and put your hands up. Slowly stepping away from the man. He stood where he was not daring to kill a child.
You took his hesitation as your chance to go. You tried to find the others but instead came across the human boy and the older girl the boy jumped and fell rolding down a hill the girl went to go after him but an older woman you hadn't seen came running after her. She looked angry so you ran the other way trying to get away from her.
But it wasn't long till you came across yet another Na'vi that you hadn't yet seen. He was younger then the last 2 new ones. He held an arrow up to my chest.
"No another step" his voice was low. You rolled your eyes and put your arms up. You were beat.
The boy removed your gun from your back and your knife, leaving them on the ground where you stood. He grabbed your wrists and pulled you along. He looked back every now and then to look at you. Confusion in his face. Probably the hair.
We reached the group of Na'vi. "Neteyam...what the hell" the man said. His eyebrows touching as he let go of the younger girl who ran to the woman. "Who is this?" He asked.
"I found her running" the boy holding you said. You saw the other boy walking over behind the man.
"I see you" you said in na'vi despite their impeccable english, bowing your head.
"She was with them earlier." He said looking up to the man. The man came over and inspected you. No doubt wondering about the hair too.
"I know it's horrible isn't it." You said when his eyes strained there. The boy holding you pulled your arms to stop you talking. You just let out a small hiss and kept going "It was nicer when it was longer. But I lost a bet, had it cut just last night."
The man held up his hand to stop you talking. You ran your tongue along your teeth in frustration. The boy was not being gentle.
"Look mate, could you tell this guy to back off." You said to the other boy. "You said it yourself, you saw me today...that means you know I don't like what that beast of a man does" the man looked to the younger boy behind him with a scrunched nose.
The boy holding you placed both your wrists in one hand and grabbed your braid in his now free hand. You shuffled your feet and licked your lips. "Come on bud..." You groaned. Getting a little inpatient.
