You travelled through the air for a good hour. Just seeing the islands and the creatures in the ocean. It was a beautiful sight.
Just as good as in the water.
You saw the sun starting to hide behind the planet above you and decided to head back. It was dark by the time you got back, so when you landed no one saw you. You actually scared a few Na'vi near by.
You started to head to the Sully's hut where Norm, Max and Marcus were all sitting and eating. Jumping up from the sand to the bouncy walkway. You smiled to a few Na'vi nearby.
Just as you were about to enter you stopped, hearing your name being spoken inside.
"Y/n should stay here" Max said. "She is advanced back home. She knows everyone and helps with everything."
"She gets bored. And needs something new...a new environment" Norm added.
"Surely that's not all. I mean she shouldn't just move away from all of you just because she gets bored" Jake said.
"There is more but I think that's for her to say." Marcus said. The room stayed quite for a few seconds.
"She is afraid of the humans. And Quaritch" Marcus blurted. Completely forgetting what he had said a second ago.
Your ears flattened when you heard him say it. Was it really that obvious? You were afraid but you had tried so hard to hide it.
You had no idea they knew. Your eyes fluttered before rushing away from the lit hut.
You walked across the silent path. You didn't know where you were going to go till you heard some yells and yips coming from the shallows if the water.
You looked out to the group of teens and one young girl in the water. All you could see was their silhouettes and stars on their skin.
You smiled to yourself seeing how happy they all looked. You could work out Kiri sitting in the beach with her feet in the water. Tsireya next to her. All watching the boys splash in the water.
One of which had a young girl on their shoulders. It was Lo'ak.
You Looked upon the group for a little longer. You know that the Sully's hadn't come here by choice. They were being hunted. Jake and Neytiri had to make one of the biggest decisions of their life and chose to run for the safety of their family.
Even though they had left, the family was able to find happiness in the reef people and their land. It was beautiful really.
Your thoughts were cut off when you saw one of the boys wave at you.
"Y/n...come join us" it was Neteyam.
You looked back to the Sully's hut before jogging onto the beach and to the group.
"Hey" Tuk yelled from the water upon Lo'aks shoulders. She gave you a big wave. You waved back with a small smile.
"Good to see you doing alright Kiri" you whispered sitting down next to her. She gave you a smile and linked her arm with yours.
"Thanks y/n" she said
"You can call me moon if you like. Everyone does" you said nudging slightly on her shoulder.
"Because if your hair?" Tsireya asked. You gave her a nod.
"Why is your hair that colour?" Ao'nung asked from the water. Kind of in a more judgemental way.
Everyone turned to you non the less for an answer. Their full attention on you."Genetics." Tuk yelled out remembering the first conversation you had had with each other.
"Yeah. My biological mother had it apparently. Passed it on to me. The scientists weren't able to change it when they made my Avatar." I said to confirm what Tuk had said.
