"Moon. This is so unfair!" You heard tuk yell from her ilu, a few metres from you. "You always win" she mumbled once she had reached you. You had been able to teach the reef kids and the sully's some water games from back on earth.
You had to admit, you didn't think you got the rules right because you barely remembered earth.
Only your parents. They would forever be with you. But everything else...was a mystery.
It had been a year since the battle so it wasn't surprising.
"Just get good" I mumbled to the younger girl with a smirk. She rolled her eyes and jumped at me from her ilu.
We both went under, tackling each other under the water. We weren't hurting each other.
We both swam back up to the top for air while we tried not to laugh under the water.
We laughed for a little bit before we realised Kiri and Tsireya were still waiting for us.
I played with Reya in a team and tuk played with Kiri in a team.
We had enough and headed back you shore, all laying down and looking to the sky.
Not long after tuk sat up. And said, "I'm bored...I'm finding my friends" she stood up and started to walk off.
"Are we not friends?" Tsireya asked pretending to be offended.
"Only you. The other two are annoying." The girl said.
"I can understand Moon with her winning...but me? What did I do?" Kiri was actually confused.
"Your my sister" tuk said with a sweet smile. But it dropped. "Annoying sister" Kiri's face went blank at the girls words. Tuk then started to laugh before skipping off to find her friends.
"I should actually go too. My mother wanted some help with some chores." Kiri said with a smile, hopping up and leaving after saying goodbye.
Tsireya and yourself spoke for a little while longer before dark blue Na'vi boys came into view.
"Lo'ak, Neteyam. How was the hunt?" Tsireya asked them, proping herself up on her elbows.
"Not as many as yesterday, but bigger ones" Neteyam replied as he sat down next to you.
Lo'ak on the other hand, stayed standing, holding out his hand for Tsireya to take. They said goodbye and started heading off.
"Fine...leave!" You yelled. The girl turned back with a smile and shrugged her shoulder.
Neteyam let out a chuckle at your fake reaction before turning to you as he stayed seated up right.
"What's this?" You asked pointing to a small cut on his knee.
"I accidentally cut myself on the spear" he said brining his knee closer to his eyes to see if the blood has dried.
"Your an idiot" you said with a laugh, closing your eyes. You could hear the sand bellow Neteyam move, then you felt his hand under your head.
He lifted it up and shuffled again, placing your head on his lap.
You opened your eyes and smiled at him. You had made your relationship official a month or 2 after the battle once Neteyam had healed properly. And so had Tsireya and Lo'ak.
You were both very happy and cherished every moment you had together.
The boy let down and gave your forehead a kiss.
"How are you feeling today?" He asked and a smile.
"I'm ok. Ronal, Tsireya and I went down the reef to collect some herbs. The girls and I played a game." You replied as you played with a strand of Neteyams hair.
