.... So yeah. Been a while eh? Sorrry :) I'm almost at a thousand reads though (HOLY CRAP) so I thought I'd better publish another chapter sooner rather than later! So this chapter is just another filler, not a lot of fluff or anything. Sorry guys :/ Next chapter though!

It's been over a month and I still hadn't gone to Jotenheim yet. Thor and I were out of ideas and Thor was currently crashing on my couch for the time being. Having the God of Thunder as your roommate is not as nice as it sounds. He was finally grasping the concept of cleaning up after himself and a bit of a sense of style when it came to clothes. I bought him some regular clothes so he could blend in and become my new assistant at my store. No one recognized him and sure I got the odd eyebrow raise, but other than that no one bothered us. Thor was actually a huge help in the store, with me being so short dusting the shelves and cleaning was much easier with him around. I had originally thought that Thor wouldn't be staying long because we both thought the Jotenheim trip would be well on its way by now. Sadly though, we were stuck here for now. I still didn't quite understand why Thor stayed with me and not his mortal girlfriend Jane, but I never bothered asking anymore. Whenever I brought it up he just frowned and told me 'You shouldn't be alone Miss Clark'. Yeah. Like I have a mental problem or something. Speaking of mental problems, I was getting better at never thinking of Loki. I could think about him and our past together and not burst into tears (progress!). The Norse Gods have pretty much taken over my thought stream now, from thinking about Loki, to trying to figure out a plan to get to Loki, to finally complaining about cleaning after Thor all the time.
When Thor first came into my shop a month ago, I had stormed out ready to just magically fly to Jotenheim with Thor. Much to my disappointment Thor couldn't just magically fly us there. Thor had told me he didn't physically hold enough power to take us both there and back. So after arguing for quite some time we agreed that I would stay here and wait until Thor had found some other source of power. He had first traveled back to Asgard, seeing if Odin would be any help, considering he had helped in many of Thors travels before. But Thor didn't want to give away Loki's whereabouts and couldn't tell Odin that Loki had technically kidnapped me while hiding right under Asgard in a parellel universe. Also Thor couldn't tell Odin that Thor had willingly let Loki go and didn't bring him back to Asgard for his punishment. Odin knew that Loki had escaped and Loki was still public enemy #1 back in Asgard, so Thor hadn't told his father his true intentions of the magic. Odin demanded an explanation so Thor told only part of the truth; he wanted to show a young mortal who knew about them all of the realms and Asgard. Odin scoffed and whisked his son away, baffled at his immaturity and how he had told yet another human about Asgard. Thor then traveled back to Earth and first made a short trip to Jane's place, then came straight to my apartment. He then stated he should stay at my apartment to protect me and make new ideas for traveling to Jotenheim. I wasn't very happy about him staying, but Thor was turning into a brother for me and I knew he wouldn't try anything or hurt me in any way. Of course I wasn't thinking about his food habits or how he grew up with servants and maids everywhere, so my apartment quickly became a wreck. Thor hadn't seen Jane since the first visit. I wondered what happened but I never asked Thor, it wasn't really my business after all.
It was late afternoon and Thor was helping restack the books in the comic book section when I thought of an idea, an idea I really should have thought of a while ago. "Thor." he didn't hear me the first time, he was too caught up in reading another comic book about the Avengers. My heart was beating frantically and I couldn't keep the excitement in me any longer so I screamed "Thor! Thor! Are you listening to me?!" I ran over to the bewildered looking Norse God, smiling the widest I have in months. "Thor, we are so stupid" A frown appeared on Thors face and he looked at me and sputtered "Miss Clark! We are not stupid. Yes, we haven't thought of a good idea to get to Asgard yet, but that doesn't mean we are incompetent! It means we have used all the resources we could think of and we have run out of options for now." He stood up and crossed his arms, frowning down at me. "No Thor, there's still another option we could try. No one else knows that Asgard even exists except for a few people you've worked with before. People who found the most powerful source of energy in the world, from YOUR realm. You get where I'm going yet Thor?" I waited patiently until Thor finally put it all together (took him quite a while surprisingly) and his eyes lit up with his smile. "Well Miss Clark it looks like we do have one last hope. We will go to the Avengers headquarters!"
