Amy's POV
I stared at Tony's face in astonishment. "You don't mean...." Tony smirked "Yeah. No need to freak out though, he's got a hold on his little temper tantrums. He's probably working in the lab, he hardly ever leaves it." Tony pressed one of the buttons to take us up and then we were off. The ride was short since he was only one level above ours, so the awkward silence didn't completely eat us up. The doors opened and my eyes widened in surprise. When Tony said he worked in a lab, I expected a huge lab with test tubes and he would be standing in a lab coat deep in his work. Well I was right about one thing, he was very deep in his work. He sat on a stool overlooking a huge table with papers stacked and thrown all across it. He didn't even notice us come in. Tony looked over at me and smiled, whispering "Watch this." Thor and I stopped walking while Tony snuck into the room. I opened my mouth to protest, but Thor put a hand on my arm and winked. I smiled up at him and he put an arm around my shoulders, smiling with the largest grin I have ever seen.
We both looked over at Tony, who was now right behind his science buddy. I was smiling but also cringing closer into Thor, a little nervous on how the Hulk was going to react. Tony grinned once more at Thor and I then leaned in, and screamed in the Hulks ear. Just screamed as loud as he possibly could. Bruce fell off his chair with a shriek and sprawled on the floor. "So much for the scariest superhero ever Bruce. I often wonder how you actually didn't run away when we were attacked from an alien army because you can be such a wimp!" Tony stood over Bruce, laughing and grinning the whole time. My grin faded slowly, getting a little scared because I was afraid Tony was pushing it too far. What if I actually got to see the Hulk today? I hoped not. But Bruce was laughing along with Tony while he got up. Once he was up he punched Tony in the arm with a smirk. Tony faked a look of hurt, but then looked over at Thor and I and grinned. "Mr. Banner may I introduce the beautiful women that is Amy Clark. As you can probably tell she is a friend of Thor and they need our expertise in travel." After only a slight nudge from Thor I walked toward Bruce and shook his hand. "Pleased to meet you Mr. Banner." I smiled up at him and he smiled back, shaking my hand. "The pleasure is all mine Miss Clark."
Bruce was just wearing regular work clothes, dressed in a deep purple dress shirt and dark jeans. His hair was very messy, like he constantly scratched his head while working. He wore glasses and had a nice, kind smile. He was very quiet and didn't stand still for long though. He walked back to his desk and with a press of a button, all of these holographic screens filled the room. All of them had different information, some with pictures and some with videos. "What do you need?" Bruce asked, grinning at my reaction. My mouth was hanging open and my eyes were wide. "This is amazing.." I mumbled, walking through to look at all the screens. "So Bruce now that you're done showing off, Amy and Thor need to get to Jotenheim. And before you ask, no it's not destroyed. The abominal snowmen still live on it and they've captured Thors brother, Loki." Tony became more serious now and started flipping through one of the screens. At first Bruce showed much interest, but when Tony mentioned Loki a frown formed on his face. "I don't mean to be rude Thor, but wasn't Loki imprisoned in your world?" Thor moved forward to stand beside me and placed an arm on my shoulder. "Yes Banner, he was imprisoned but he escaped. He came down to Earth and planned to try and take over again, but instead this young girl-" He patted my shoulder for extra effect. "-Bargained with him and he left Earth alone. He took her though. He took her from her world and she was imprisoned in his castle, where he was hiding from Asgardians. I vowed to find her and bring her home, and eventually I did. I fought with Loki for her and I realized something. Loki, my brother, had fallen in love with this young human girl. He was fighting to keep her not because of the deal, but because he didn't want to let her go. But I made him return her by the end of the night, and eventually he understood that she didn't belong up in space. He returned her to her own world."
