Hi guys! So again I apologize for the long update. I know I've had this story on here for a long time and I'm sorry for those of you that have waited for my updates. I honestly didn't think a lot of people would like this story so just getting little comments on my chapters asking to update really means a lot. Thanks so much for everyone sticking with this story :). I hope you enjoy it and as always comments and votes make my day a lot brighter :)

Amys POV
It seemed like I had been here for months, Stark Tower had become a second home to me. At first I was constantly going back and forth from my apartment to here but it came to a point where I just sort of moved in. I still work at my bookstore but I hired more employees so I could spend my time in Stark Tower. Thor stays here too, he already had his own room prepared. Tony thankfully had many spare bedrooms for me to choose from and Thor and I got to stay on the same floor. Our floor was basically like an apartment except way more luxorious and beautiful. Our view was high over New York and the whole apartment was established with the finest and latest in style. My bed was the comfiest thing I had ever been in, it took a lot of will power to get out of bed in the morning. But one thought of Loki and I'd be out and ready to work.
Now when I say I got up to get to work, I didn't necessarily work all day. There wasn't much I could actually do because I wasn't a science geek like Bruce and Tony. They would work hard on the portal all day and I basically just hung around waiting to be told what to do. But I wanted to stay just in case any of them needed anything from another cup of coffee, to waking them up from their power naps.
Thor helped quite often with the boys though because he could give them information about Asgard and its 'Rainbow Bridge'. I'm always fascinated when Thor talks about Asgard, because he just gets this whole new look on his face. His face gets so animated and passionate. I can see that he misses his home world and my heart hurts for him.
When I entered the lab today though, the room was empty. There was no Tony or anyone in sight. I checked my watch and it was about 1 in the afternoon, a prime time for Tony and Bruce usually. All their lab equipment was here, so where were they? I searched the entire floor and the only thing I could hear was the scruff of my own boots against the floor. Then I heard it. A faint tune coming from a ways away. I crept around the room slowly, trying to find out where the song was coming from. The song then became louder and even more familiar and it was coming from the floor above me.
Now this was the highest floor in the building, so it had to be on the roof. I took the elevator that was vibrating from the noise. The song was becoming familiar but I still couldn't place it. As the elevator doors opened, the song blasted through the doors. I recognized it immediately and started singing along and peering out of the doors and onto the roof. In front of me was Thor, Tony and Bruce all smiling like the idiots they were. Stereos were placed all over the roof and booming out music. Tony shouted something at me but I couldn't hear it over the music.
"You like the song huh? I thought 'We are the Champions' would be a good fit" Tony yelled as the music died down. "But why are we celebrating?" I asked, trying to keep my hopeful nerves under control. Thor and Bruce stepped out of the way, showing me an extravagant and very complex machine that was about my height.
"We wanted to surprise you. Stark was the one who insisted on the song, I was content with just bringing you up here. Either way, we wanted to show you that Banner and Stark have completed the Dimensional Teleporter." Thor said, stepping forward and taking my hand.
"You... You finished it? And it works?" I asked. "Yes, Thor actually volunteered and we tested it this morning. You see there's actually a hole in the machine that you have to put your arm in that wraps around you and your pulse, vibrating the teleporting throughout your entire body with heartbeats. You then enter the coordinates and it will basically use your beats to beam you out into another dimension." Bruce explained, his voice quiet.
