Fay'tari had been with the Omaticaya clan for a week and although she still felt incredibly homesick, she was beginning to get a hold of the lifestyle there. Their way of life was only slightly different to hers, making it easy for her to understand her way around most things. Even the way they trained was the same, although it's intensity was doubled, allowing Fay'tari to be able to go about her day as if she were still at home.

As Jake suggested, she was able to join the Sully children to train, meaning it was only a small group of them together each day. She'd slowly learnt their names over the course of the week, though they didn't talk to her much to begin with. Before she remembered their names individually however, she knew Lo'ak and Kiri to be the "two who were probably fighting" and Neteyam to be the one who wasn't.

Sometimes they'd practice climbing or jumping, tracking or hunting and although she had never experienced such full-on training before, whatever it was that day, Fay'tari would manage just fine.

She'd gotten so into the routine that on one sunny morning, Fay'tari woke up and headed out to the training area, as she usually did, to warm up for the day. She'd normally do some stretches before waiting for either Jake or Neytiri to arrive however neither of them nor their children showed up that day. When she decided it had been long enough without company, she went out to search for them around the spot where they slept as a family, finding only Jake and Neytiri.

"Fay'tari?" A voice called, followed by Jake stepping over towards the little girl with a confused look spread across his brows.

"Why aren't you with the rest of them?" He questions her, crouching down slightly as he did.

When Fay'tari didn't answer him and simply returned his confused expression, Jake made the decision that she probably hadn't been told what was going on that day, or that she wasn't listening when it was said. "You don't need to train today, we're taking a day off." He tells her, looking back towards his wife who was still laying on their bed behind him. As Fay'tari looked too, she noticed that Neytiri looked rather uncomfortable there, clutching her tummy which had a small lump on it.

Because of how small she was, Fay'tari didn't know what that meant so she looked back at Jake and nodded her head at him. Guessing that she understood him, Jake patted her head and stood up straight before telling her where she could find his kids, which wasn't too far for Fay'tari's little legs to walk.

After walking for a short while down the mountain's side and towards the forest floor, she began to hear screaming and laughter nearing towards her. She followed it, eventually revealing two Na'vi who she recognised to be Kiri and her brother Lo'ak, fighting over what seemed to be some sort of toy.

"I hate you times infinity, Lo'ak! Penis-face!" Kiri yelled at him, evoking a high-pitched screech from her brother, who was still tugging on the toy.

Neteyam was sat a few feet away, concentrating on tying an arrow-head instead of interfering with his sibling's brawl, knowing they'd eventually calm it down by some means.

A twig snapped where Fay'tari stepped, making the three of them dart their heads towards her before realising who it was and getting right back to what they were doing. Well, that was what Kiri and Lo'ak did anyway. Neteyam however, smiled over at Fay'tari, making her dawdle over to him and also avoid the ongoing drama the other two were causing. When she did, she sat beside him and watched what he was doing.

"Do you know how to tie a knot, like this one?" He asked her, lifting up the tip of the arrow and showing her the small knot he'd just tied. Fay'tari, feeling a little shy because she'd just walked right in unannounced, just shook her head and told him "no."

He chuckled softly, pulling another arrow around from the other side of him and handing it to her, along with a small loose string. He did the same for himself so that he would be able to demonstrate for her, telling her to "first, wrap the string around the arrow."

A few more steps were taken before Fay'tari was left with a perfectly tied-on arrowhead, amazed she was able to do it the first time. "Well done! Really, it took me a while to get it right." He said, taking the arrow away from her and placing it in the pile of others he'd already tied up.

"You know, we would've brought you down here with us but Kiri said we shouldn't wake you since you looked so peaceful." Neteyam states, immediately making Fay'tari feel a whole ton better about her intrusion, but also rather embarrassed that they'd seen her sleeping.

"It's okay!" She smiles, finally speaking to him.

A short silence passes before he begins again, "Wait, how old are you?"

"I'm six and a half." She states, making Neteyam lighten up slightly.

"No way! You're the same age as my brother and sister, they're six too! I'm seven, though. They call me old sometimes because of it." He says gloomily, pouting his lips out slightly as he admitted to being insulted due to the small age gap.

"You won't call me old, will you?" He asks frantically, turning towards Fay'tari who lets out a small laugh as she found his question funny.

"I won't!" She giggles some more.

"I would've thought you were younger, I mean, you're shorter than both of them!" He says, irking Fay'tari to come up with a rather witty line.

"Hey! If I'm not allowed to call you old then you're not allowed to call me young!" She laughs at her own joke, watching as Neteyam started to laugh also, making her feel far more comfortable and allowing her to come out of her shell slightly.

"But you are! What if I called you..." He thought for a while, touching his chin with his index finger, trying to look smart. "Little Fay'tari! No, no. What about- Little Fay!" He finally decides, staring at her intensely as he waited for her to allow him to do so.

This only made Fay'tari start to laugh even more. She held her stomach as it had began to hurt to laugh so much, rolling herself backwards slightly and almost letting herself fall.

Due to the volume of it, they had interrupted Kiri and Lo'ak's quarrel, making Lo'ak turn to look at the two others who were continuously laughing. As he was already irritated, he thought the worst of them. He strode over with heavy feet, stopping suddenly before them and making the two stop laughing as he got closer.

"What's so funny?" He sternly asks, looking at his brother more than the girl.

"Nothing, brother!" Neteyam replies, trying to suppress the snickers that were trying to escape him due to his brother's stupid face, knowing that that was the expression he put on if he was trying to intimidate someone.

"Is it me?" He asks again, this time putting his hands on his hips for a more strict sort of effect.

It didn't have that effect however, as both Neteyam and Fay'tari gave each other a deadly side-eye, making them burst out into another laughing fit.

Lo'ak let out a low growl, stomping his foot onto the ground and turning to walk away from them. When he was gone, the laughing lessened and they both tried to get back their breath, sighing in and out deeply for a while.

Neteyam decided to play around some more it seemed, as he let a short silence last before making another funny comment.

"Little Lo'ak isn't very happy."
