Laura's POV

After getting back from seeing Mike off at the airport, I went to the kitchen. I took the letter Ross sent me a month ago out if the secret drawer under the counter. (Only I knew about it) The letter sat there, staring at me, burning holes into me. I should have told Mike about the letter, But it's too late now.

I sat at the kitchen table. I want sure how to respond to this. I knew he wouldn't leave me alone until I said yes. I had to respond soon, or the deal will be off. I wasn't sure what to write, so I let my emotions write for me.
Ross,
I always liked you. I know now that you feel the same about me. I was writing to you to tell you that I will except the deal. Meet me at my locker after school on Friday. If you are not there by 3:15, the deal is off, and I'll just have to take being beaten up. My locker number is 143. I am doing this because I Love You, but if you don't keep your promise, then I guess you were lying about how I wouldn't get beaten up the next week. Thank you.

I was finished. I sealed the envelope, and stuck it in the mail. Update don't knowing I should be trusting him, but I am. I told my best friend Emma about the letter, and how I am going to do it, but she said I shouldn't. She told me that he was just playing with my heart. I don't know if I should believe her, or my own feelings.

*Friday at 3:15*

Ross still has not shown up. I knew he would stand me up. I'm heading home. I don't need this.

Just as I walk away from my locker, I hear a familiar voice from behind me. It scared me to hear that voice, and what he said scared me more. "Hey shorty, where do you think your going? Don't we have a deal?" I slowly turned around to reveal a handsome bleach-blonde boy right next to me. What have I gotten myself into?
