Chapter 16

No one's POV

Ross- {speeding down the road to get there on time} Laura, we are almost there. {Smiles}

Laura- {Wonders what Ross has in store} okay. {Smiles back}

Ross- Laura, put this blindfold on. {Hands her the blindfold}

Laura- {groans} why?

Ross- because. I was t it to be a surprise

Laura - {takes the blindfold} alright. Only for you Blondie.

Ross- {chuckles} thank you.

Ross's POV

I pull into the parking lot alongside Riker's car. I hope were not late. They shouldn't have happened yet. I get out of the car and walk over to Laura's side. I open the door and help her out. I hold her waist from behind as I guide her to our spot right next to Riker and Emma. "Okay, open your eyes" she takes the blindfold off and gasps as she sees the cabana with candles, roses, and chocolate covered strawberries and pretzels. "Oh my God Ross! You did all of this!??!" She turns around and looks at me. I nod, my cheeks turning pink for sure. I guide her to the cabana, and I start feeding her the strawberries. I wonder how Riker's date is going.

Riker's POV

As I pull up in the parking lot, I see that mine and Ross's cabanas are set up. I get out, and open the door for Emma. I take her hand and lead her to the cabana. I didn't give her the blindfold like Ross is going to do with Laura. I didn't think that was necessary. Instead, I go behind her and cover her eyes with my hands. When we get there, I lift my hands from her eyes. "Oh my God Riker!! I can't believe this. The first date I ever went on was to McDonald's, so this is outstanding!!"

I laughed. "I wanted to make this special. Ross and I have a special thing planned for you and Laura tonight. But, right now we are just going to enjoy some chocolate covered strawberries and pretzels." I smile.

She smiles as well. I love that smile. That's the smile I fell in love with. "Alrighty then" she says. I chuckle as I grab her hand and run to the cabana. We joke around and laugh our ass's off. I wonder if Laura said yes to Ross.

I am, and I always will be. I get that they have changed, but I think it was for the better. They were the band to help me through my bullying, so I will always be grateful to them. I found them when I was bullied, and their music cheered me up.
