Chapter 23

Laura's POV
"And then she told him that I pushed her down the stairs! And the worst part is, he believed her!!" I say as I cry more to Lauren, curling up tighter in the blanket.

"Oh Laura, I'm so sorry! He wasn't worth it. If he didn't believe his girlfriend, then you should break up with him" she says as she takes another sip of her Dunkin Donuts iced coffee she brought for us both on her way over

"It's not that easy Lauren. He told me he would be there for me forever. He gave me a promise ring. He told me he's not like other guys. I loved him more than anything! I can't let him go just like that!" I say as I cry some more.

I hear her sigh and get off the couch. She walks over to the table and grabs my phone. She comes back to the couch and hands me my phone. "Here, why don't you call him and tell him. If he really ment everything that he said, then he should listen to you." She looks at me with a tiny smile. I smile back at her and look down at my phone. He hasn't called me like he said he would. Maybe I should surprise him at his house. I tell Lauren my plan. She liked it, and she agreed to drive me over. I quickly ran up to get dressed into skinny jeans, converse, and one of Ross's shirts. I really hope this works.

After a 20 minute thought processes of what I was going to say, 5 minute process of fixing my hair, 3 minutes of teeth brushing, and a 10 minute drive in the car to get from my place to his, I'm finally a block away. As Lauren pulls into the Lynch's driveway, I get out, thank Lauren, and tell her that I could have Ross walk me home. She had gotten an emergency call from work.

I walk up to the door and knock. After a couple minutes, I see a tuff of blond hair over the door. As it opens up I'm surprised to see a messy-hair shirtless Riker with a messy-hair Emma wearing his shirt. They look really tired, if you know what I mean. As soon as Emma sees me, her eyes widen and she hides behind Riker.

"Laura, what the hell are you doing here" Emma asks me from behind Riker

"I could ask you the same thing, but I can already see that you two were busy" I smirk up at Riker and he blushes and looks away.

"I'm guessing you're looking for Ross?" Riker asks changing the subject.

I smile. "Yeah, actually I am"

"He and Brittany walked down to the park. Don't tell him this, but I can't stand that bitch." Riker smiled

I laughed "well, at least im not the only one. Ill let you two finish whatever was going on" I smirk as I walk away from the door.

I hear Emma yell after me "nothing was going on!!"

"Suuurrreee!! Ill see you tomorrow girl"

And with that, I walk down to the park. As I turn the corner, I see something that I never wanted to see, and it killed me.
