I look in the mail, and can't believe what I see. A letter from Mike. I open it, eager to see what he sent me. We couldn't Skype yet, because his account wasn't set up, so we write.
My beloved Laura,
All is well here. I miss you so much. France is a beautiful place, and I wish you were here with me. There are no words in the world to describe how much I hate myself for breaking up with you. I want you back. I don't care if we have to Skype everyday. I want you back. Write back when you have made your decision.

I had tears in my eyes. I do miss Mike, but I can't do long distance relationships. I'll miss him too much. I love him so much, but I just can't do it.
"Hey Emma, can I talk to you for a second?" I ask, coming back into the house and dragging her into the kitchen with me.
"What's up?" Emma asks me. As soon as I try to speak, I break down crying.
Emma's POV
I walk into the kitchen with Laura, and immediately after I ask her what's wrong, she breaks down crying. I quickly hug her, and ask what's wrong. "Mike wrote me...saying that h-he wants to get b-b-b-back together." She stuttered out. I was shocked. Why would he want to get back together after he broke her heart. That jerk. "Well Laura, you miss him, don't you?" I ask her, knowing her answer. "Of course I miss him." She said, calming herself down. "Then, I suggest that you take him back. He obviously misses you, and wants you back, so why not?" "Thanks Emma. You always know just what to say." "No problem." I say hugging her. I just hope Ross won't get involved again like he did last week.
Laura's POV
I write back to Mike saying that I want to get back together with him. I can't wait to have my boyfriend back with me. I just hope Ross doesn't get involved again.
