Chapter 19: Kidnapped! (Part 1)

Tai’s POV:

I decided to take a few steps ahead and get ready to get into the car when I almost bumped into a well-built body. I had almost kissed the ground with my bum, but those well-built hands had held me mid-air, stopping me. I was glad that I had managed to not meet with any accidents for today. I mean, I always kept on finding myself either attacked or attacking someone with my clumsiness, hence it was very rare that I had no incidents happening to me. Anyways, I thanked the well-built body and moved ahead to get into the cab and go home.

Jay’s POV:

It’s been what five years? Five Years since I last talked to Savit. After that incident, he just vanished away from our sight and never kept any contact with us. Therefore, I was astonished when he called today, stating that he needed my help. What was even more shocking was his asking me to protect someone. And he was not asking me to protect just someone, but one of his office employees. That was weird but good. Good because it meant that he had yet again learned to trust someone and had allowed them to enter his heart and world once again.
Even if he denied that he didn’t care for this person and was doing all this only for his sister, because his sister loved this person, anyone closer to Savit can say that this was just one of the excuses he was using to protect someone he cared for. As there was absolutely no way that one can make Savit care for someone if he really didn’t want to. Hence, I was eager to meet this person was, who had managed to make his way into Savit’s heart. Anyways, after confirming it with Savit that I shall join his company as a bodyguard two days later, I got busy finishing up my current task, so that I could hand it over to my colleague before I left. However, in the meanwhile, I had also asked Savit to share the person’s photo and other details with me, because he didn’t want me to directly meet the person, instead be his shadow and protect him.

Name: Tai Adulyadej

Age: 22

Family Members: Father, mother, and elder brother.

Works at SA Telecommunications as the New Marketing Head.

Also, a pro-You tuber runs a channel called as ‘Tai’s Vlog’.

Along with this, was attached his photo, where he was seen smiling at the camera showing his bunny like teeth. He was indeed cute and had a smile that would make anyone fall for him. Anyways, meet you soon Mr. Tai Adulyadej, the capturer of Savit’s heart.

Tai’s POV:

Two days later…

Another busy day. With four back-to-back meetings, I hardly had time for any lunch, let alone take a break in between to let my mind rest. The last meeting finished just a few minutes ago, and it was already 8 pm at night. Can you believe it? I was hungry. Super hungry and I needed some food to replenish my energy. Deciding to have some instant noodles before leaving from office, I went to the small cafeteria on my floor. After gaining a little of bit energy from eating the delicious pork-flavoured noodles, I left for home. I booked a cab, just like I have been doing for the past few days. It’s been two days since I last met Arisa and I have to agree that I kind of missed that cute goofball. Maybe, I can ask Mr. Savit about her tomorrow. Yes! I can do that. Busy in my thoughts, I had missed noticing, that someone was following me again. That person started following me the moment, I stepped out of the office to walk to the bus stop, the place where the cab drivers usually park their cars. It was just a five-second walk from the main entrance of the building. But obviously, something had to happen right? When will I get peace? And why the hell was this person following me? I had enough of it. Hence, I decided to confront him today and face my fears and get to know the reason why was I being followed for the past almost half a month.

Deciding to confront the person, I came to an abrupt halt and turned around which made the person following me lose his continuity, giving him no time to hide but come face to face with me. This was my chance and I had to make full use of it. So, I asked him what I wanted to ask him for long.

“Why are you following me?”

No answer.

“What do you want from me?”

Again no answer. Therefore, I tried once again.

“Who are you and why are you following me?”

“Well! You sure have a lot of questions to ask, but do not worry all your questions will be answered soon.” He finally spoke.

“What do you mean? I don’t understand.”

“As I said, you will know soon, but now you should get some rest, I think.”

And that’s when I noticed him signalling someone something with a movement of his hand. I tried to turn around and see whom was he talking to, but was unable to as a hand came in front of me holding a handkerchief laced with Chloroform, and I was put to deep sleep. My worst nightmare had come true. I was being kidnapped but why? I was not rich. I did not have anything to offer to them. Then why?

I'm sorry for leaving you all on a cliffhanger in the last chapter and then not showing up for so long. But I had my uni submissions and had to work hard on them. Anyways, I'm back with this new chapter. Hope you like it.
