Tai’s POV:

After breakfast, Mr. Savit decided to drop us off at my place. My place was not as lavish as Mr. Savit’s Penthouse but it was not bad either. Moreover, I had bought the place with my own savings, so I was very proud of it. It was a two bedroom apartment where I occupied the Master bedroom, the guest room was for Kiet who often crashed here when he was away on business. My apartment was situated in a seven floor building while I lived on the fifth floor.

Getting in, I started the TV and put on some cartoons for Arisa, as I went for a quick shower. Dressing up in a simple blue jeans, paired with a white tee, a grey cardigan and white vans, I was all set for the day. Thinking that this might be a good opportunity to shoot an outdoor kind of travel vlog, I took my camera equipment with me. I decided to take Arisa to Sealife Bangkok Ocean World. I mean like there’s hardly any kid that doesn’t like going to aquariums and looking at different kinds of beautiful colourful fishes.

Upon reaching Ocean World, I asked Arisa if it was okay for me to record a vlog here with her and she readily agreed. The aquarium was not that crowded because it was a weekday, which made it easier for me to look after Arisa and take my time to shoot the video. We took our sweet time to roam around, shoot video and share stories. I also told Arisa about the Thai classic legend of Phra Aphra Mani when she saw their statues submerged in the water and wanted to know about them. While shooting the video, sometimes Arisa came running shouting my name, being excited with some new kind of fish that she saw and wanted me see as well, which made the video more fun, lively and vibrant. In fact it was a day well spent.

While we enjoyed roaming around looking at different fishes, Arisa enjoyed watching the penguins the most; well who could anyways ignore the cute penguins. Going from one corner to the other of the aquarium we had almost lost track of time, thus missing our lunch time. Now it was 6pm and we both were famished. And on Arisa’s demand we decided to eat some pizza and then take a cab home as we very too tired to take the bus home.

20 mins later, we were now seated in one of the local shops and ordered some chicken BBQ pizza with some coke and ginger breads, Arisa’s another favourite. As we relished our pizza and ginger breads, I felt a sharp stare on our table. It’s like you know when someone is looking at you continuously without blinking? Yes! Exactly that’s how felt. Hence, to find out who this person was, I let my eyes wander around only to find a man sitting three tables away from us. I couldn’t figure out his face because he wore a mask and also had his glasses on.

Although, I didn’t want to dwell on the fact that someone may be was stalking Arisa, I had no other option but to keep an eye open and not let any harm touch Arisa because she was responsibility for today. However, another thought crossed my mind that may be he is not dangerous and is looking at Arisa and thinking about someone else, like how we sometimes space out looking at a certain thing, you know? But all my hopes and theories went down the drain when I saw him following us out.

Stepping out, I quickly booked the cab, but because of the traffic it was going to take ten minutes to come over. Nevertheless, thinking there might be a need to run, I tightly strapped my bag on my shoulders, then quickly picked up Arisa and asked her to go to sleep. As I waited for the cab to come, I noticed that the guy went and sat down at the bus stop on the opposite side of the road but didn’t board any of the buses. It started to scare me. Like I had my fair share of dealing with such stalkers, like that girl at the Sushi restaurant but now I had Arisa with me and I couldn’t take any chances. I also almost thought of texting Mr. Savit about it but then remembered that he was still at meeting, which he told us when he called an hour ago to check up on Arisa.

One. Two. Three. Four. Five…. I started counting the numbers waiting for the taxi to arrive, while Arisa went to sleep because she was tired. By god’s grace, the cab came by the time I finished counting up to twenty. Without wasting another minute, I quickly got in and asked the driver to hurry up. Even when we started moving towards my house and were in between the traffic, I constantly kept checking if someone was still following us. Suddenly a day which was spent well turned into a day gone terribly; well almost terribly bad.
