Changed Me ( Rewritten)

            He's unable to respond or even react to Max saying it before the door is opened quickly. " Nat " he hears his mother say, so he quickly looks up. He sees his mother crying as she rushes over to him. " My poor son. Who did this to you. I'm going to make them pay for hurting you " his mother says quickly as she pulls him into a tight hug.

            He slowly raises his arms and hugs her back as they both cry. " His name is Aek. This happened at the party as well " Max says quietly, letting his mother know. It causes him to freeze as his mother pulls away from the hug. " H-He's going to do worse. He said not to tell. H-he " he quickly says as he starts to panic again.

            " Nat, Nat look at me. I will not let them anywhere near you. I will protect you. So will the others " Max says as he makes him look at him. " I-I'm scared " he cries out. " I know. I know you are " Max says as he gently caresses his cheek with his thumb.

            Max has now started to cry as well. In fact everyone in the room has started to. " I promise to protect you. Im not going to let him hurt you anymore " Max says with a small smile. He can only lean in towards Max for comfort.

            It's silent for a while until he hears the door slam open. When he moves away from Max he sees NuNew crying. When they make eye contact, he stands up. NuNew immediately rushes towards him and pulls him into a tight hug.

            He breaks down again, NuNew immediately tightens their hug. " NuNew " he cries out. " I'm here. I'm here Nat " NuNew says quickly. " H-He tried to make me leave the mall with him " he cries out. He finds himself opening up about what happened to NuNew, regardless of Aek's threat.

            " H-He covered my mouth and dragged me away " he says. " I-I kept fighting to get out of his grasp. H-He slammed me against the wall and I hit my head. He told me to come with him but I refused " he cries out. " You did good. You did such a good job Nat " NuNew tells him quickly.

" I have the security footage right here. If you all want to watch what happened " NuNew's mother says gently. He turns to look at the computer screen as the video starts playing. He watches as Aek drags him into view of the camera towards the doors. It shows everything after that. You see Aek hit him and throw him. You see him kissing his neck. You then see him try to kick Aek away from him.

He watches closely as Aek starts to touch almost every part of his body. He then sees Aek grab on to his jeans before he quickly lets go. After that you see him rush out the emergency doors. The whole security footage makes him feel like he's incredibly dirty.

He pulls away from NuNew as he looks towards the ground. " Nat, what's going through your head " NuNew asks him gently. " I-I'm dirty. I feel disgusting. H-He was touching me and h-he was " he pauses as he starts to cry more. " I-I just. I-I'm dirty " he says as he looks up towards NuNew.

Before anyone could give a response to what he said, the door opens once again. This time, two police officers come into the room. " We we're called because of a sexual harassment case " one of the officers say. It's the first time someone has referred what happened to him as that. It makes everything feel incredibly worse.

" It happened to this boy. His name is Nat Nattasit. While this is his mother " NuNew's mother says, pointing towards him and then his mother. " Alright, can we talk with you about what happened Nat " one of the officers gently ask him.

He bites his lip nervously. " We just need to have you tell us your side of the story. After that, you are free to leave while we discuss the rest with your mother " the female officer says. So he hesitantly nods his head.

Max has him sit back down, while the female officer sits down on the chair in front of him. With her laptop open. " Alright, start from the beginning when you're ready " the officer says to him gently. He grabs ahold of Max's hand for comfort.

" I-I asked P'Max if he could order me food while I went to the bathroom. He agreed so I walked down the hallway towards the bathroom. T-That's when " he says before pausing. It's so incredibly hard for him to talk about. Especially with how Aek threatened him. " Take your time telling me " the officer says gently.

He forces himself to take a deep breath before he continues. " T-That's when someone came up behind me and covered my mouth. I didn't know who it was and they were dragging me to a secluded area where the emergency exit doors are. H-He was trying to get me to go out them with him ".

" I was struggling so much. So he slammed me against the wall. I hit my head really hard. When I looked up, I saw who it was. I-It was Aek. Someone whose been bullying me and beating me up with his friends at school. I-I immediately just became filled with terror " he says as he looks down at Max's hand holding his own hand.

" He told me to come with him but I shook my head no. S-So he punched me in the stomach and said fine, we can do it here. I-It was then that I knew what he wanted to do. So I struggled as much as I could. B-But I'm weak compared to him. He started kissing my neck as he kept his hand covering my mouth.

            " I needed to get away so I did the one thing I could think of. I kicked him as hard as I could. But it did nothing except make him angrier. He slapped me and told me to don't try that shit again before he started. B-Before he started to kiss me on the lips ".

            " I-I just wanted it to end but he started touching me all over. It just got worse and worse as it went on longer. H-He slid his hand underneath my shirt and started touching my bare chest and stomach before he " he pauses as he remembers the feeling.

            " Oh god " he quietly whispers to himself. Max gently squeezes his hand. " H-He started touching me in places I did not want to be in touched in. I froze, I was so terrified. T-Then he slid his hands down to my jeans. He had his thumb in my jeans and then someone saw and stopped him. B-But he said " he pauses as he thinks about the threat.

            " H-He told me not to tell anyone what happened or to not say his name. He said he'd do worse to me before giving me to Kit,  the person that beats me the most. I-I'm so scared. H-Hea going to know and he'll " he starts to ramble but Max interrupts him.

            " Remember what I said, I'm going to protect you. So will everyone else. We won't let him hurt you again " Max says gently. He hesitantly nods his head. " I'm sorry that happened to you Nat. But you did really good by not going outside with him " the officer says. He can only nod his head.

            " You are free to go while we finish discussing the rest of the case with your mother here " the officer says. So he nods his head before standing up. He looks towards his mother and quietly says " C-Can P'Max stay at our house. I w-want him to be there to protect me ". His mother gently smiles and says " He's free to stay over whenever. Let's talk when I get back home ok ". He nods his head before giving his mother a hug.

           Him and Max then leave after saying goodbye to everyone. The entire car ride back to his house is silent.
