It's true. He was really going to kill him. If the police hadn't taken him into custody then he could be dead right now. It terrifies him, knowing just how close he was to dying. " This is written proof that Aek Woovern planned to kill Nat Nattasit. It is the second evidence that proves Aek wanted to kill Nat " the prosecutor says to the jury.

He starts to cry as Max pulls him into a tight hug. " This is the doctor's statement on Nat Nattasit's condition after Aek strangled him. The doctor says that if Aek didn't let go at the moment he did, Nat would have fallen unconscious. Which could have caused brain damage or worse, death " the prosecutor says.

He faces away from the front and towards Max's chest. He doesn't want to see anymore. He's seen enough. " I have presented all of my evidence judge " the prosecutor says. " Give your final statements " the judge says.

" Jury, I'm here to help Nat Nattasit put the person who's hurt him most, behind bars. Which is why I'm charging him with sexual harassing and attempted murder of the first degree. I am asking you to give Aek Woovern the highest possible sentence " the prosecutor says.

" I have shown you evidence that proves Aek Woovern is guilty. Nat Nattasit was brave and testified in front of you all, putting himself in the same room as the person who's hurt him most. During the testimony you were also, able to see how this had all effected him mentally ".

" Nat Nattasit has suffered so much because of Aek Woovern. He is left with trauma and scars because of Aek. And when this trial ends, it won't completely make everything normal for him again. His trauma and scars won't go away after the trial. Nat Nattasit will have to live with this trauma that Aek gave him, for the rest of his life ".

" Which is why, Jury. I once again ask you. To give Aek Woovern the highest possible sentence. So that Nat Nattasit can get at least some closure to everything that he's been put through. So that he won't have to worry about Aek coming and hurting him again. So that he can focus on navigating through life with the trauma he now has " the prosecutor says before the court room becomes silent.

" That is all Judge " the prosecutor says. " Jury, please enter the deliberation room and come up with a sentence for Aek Woovern " the judge says, dismissing the jury. Once they are gone the Judge says " Nat Nattasit, please stand ". So he hesitantly stands up. " Now is your time to tell Aek Woovern anything you wish to " the judge tells him.

He turns to look at Aek, making eye contact with him. Aek is glaring at him and it scares him. Max, noticing his fear, grabs onto his hand and gently squeezes it. " You have done nothing but make my life a living hell " he says before taking a deep breath. " I should have been processing the death of my father this last year. Instead, you, Kit and Copter came into my life and beat me constantly. Calling me slurs and saying harsh things to me ".

He can feel himself wanting to cry but he forces himself not to. " You tortured me. And then at some point your feelings changed about me and you wanted to kiss me and touch me. I don't know when that happened and I don't care about it anymore " he says, squeezing Max's hand for comfort.

" I went through everything alone. But now, I have people to protect me and be my friends. And I even have someone that loves me and cares for me. Who doesn't force himself on me. And guess what Aek " he says. He can feel himself getting a little more brave.

" I love him back. I love him so much because he treats me like an actual human being. Unlike you. When I look at you. I see nothing but a disgusting monster. That needs to be put away so that you can't do what you did to me, to someone else ". Max squeezes his hand.

" I have faith in the jury that they will do what the prosecutor asked them to do. I know you will get sent to jail. And guess what Aek. You might have caused me trauma but I. I ruined the last chances you had at your dream. That is something I am proud in. Because you don't deserve to get your dream. You deserve to rot in prison ".

Aek is getting furious but he doesn't care at this point. He knows that Aek will be unable to hurt him. " While I, will get to experience my dream. I will take all the chances at achieving my dream and becoming big. Because I know that you won't even get to have one chance. Every time I take a chance, I will remember that you don't get a chance. Which will feel so fucking rewarding " he says.

He takes a deep breath before hearing the Jury come back into the room. " Nat, are you finished " the judge asks him. " Yes Judge " he says. He watches as a Jury member steps forward before an officer loudly tells everyone to rise. When Max does, he tightly holds onto his hand. Anxious for what the jury decided to give Aek as a sentence.

" Has the jury come to a decision " the judge asks. " Yes judge " one of the jury members says. " Read out the sentence " the judge instructs. He bites his lip, his hands start to slightly shake. Max squeezes his hand, trying to help calm his nerves.

" For the sexual harassment of Nat Nattasit, we the jury sentence Aek Woovern to 1 year in prison. For the attempted murder of Nat Nattasit, of the first degree. We the jury sentence Aek Woovern to 5 years in prison. Giving the final sentence of 6 years in prison for Aek Woovern " the jury member said.

He instantly starts to cry as Max pulls him into a tight hug. He feels so relieved. That was a much larger sentence then he thought was possible. Especially after what the officer first told him. " You did it baby, you did it " Max says to him. He pulls away from the hug and looks at his mother.
