Narrative

Yawning, Rory rolled over to look at her boyfriends face, only to not see him there. Getting up, she went to the cell next door to see the twins out of their bed.

In the almost year since they had brought back the Woodbury people the prison had been flourishing.

They had made major repairs to the prison. They cleared out cell block A and B, having more space incase they found anyone on the road.

The council, which consisted of Hershel, Daryl, Rory, Sasha, Glenn and Carol, had decided for the safest possibility, to ask three questions when considering bringing back people.

How many walkers have you killed?

How many people have you killed?

Why?

They became important, and anyone who answered them correctly could come back.

Also in the year Tyreese and Sasha made Evie and Ellie one of their top priorities, along with Rory. They became close quickly.

Rick and Hershel finally got the garden, they found piglets and a horse. Rory helped in the building of the pens for them.

The twins were almost two and finally took their first steps, their vocabulary range became wider. They had a name for everyone. They were able to eat other food then applesauce, mushed vegetables and mushed fruits. They had teeth, Rory and Daryl were trying to teach them how to eat with utensils.

They had moved them to the cell next to them because having four people cramped into a cell was hard. They had made it to where there could be a baby gate along with the regular bar door. Just for extra protection. They didn't usually use the barred door.

Rory would use the baby gate so they couldn't wander out of the cell in the middle of the night and get hurt.

They were close enough so that if they called for her, or Daryl, they would hear and could go get them.

She peaked over the railing, seeing Daryl at the table with the kids. He smiled as the two of them ate, and played, with the breakfast he made for them.

She walked back into the cell, flopping down on the bed. She had thrown out the bunk bed when Rick brought back a truckload of mattresses. She took a queen sized for her a Daryl, leaving room for a dresser, desk and bookshelf.

"Lets go mess with mama. Huh, yeah." Daryl walked up the steps, helping the twins climb up them. They waddled to the cell and pulled open the curtain.

"Mom!"

"Mama!"

Rory looked up and smiled at the sight, they walked in further, climbing up on the bed. Daryl stood in the doorway.

"Mo-ning!" Evie smiled.

"Good morning baby." She planted a kiss on her head.

"Mom!" Ellie yelled.

"What?" Rory tickled under her chin. "Should we get you ready for the day?" Ellie rolled away from her, kicking her feet into the air.

"You get me their clothes?" Daryl nodded, walking to the cell next door he grabbed the twins clothes.

"Here." He sat down at the end of the bed, handing a outfit to Rory. He grabbed Ellie by her feet, pulling her to him. Together they got them dressed and ready for the day.

"What's going on today?"

"We got that run, to the store."

"Will you look for a camera? I know it's not important but I would appreciate it, and film for it."
