"I can't believe it..." Lea said, recovering from the shock "Barry was right... I shouldn't have told her"

"Lea, Nora is just angry" Caitlin said, trying to console Lea "Then if she had asked you I know for a fact that you would never have lied so..."

"I screwed it up... I wanted to spend our first real Christmas with her... I stood up to my mom and her family at the last minute to be here...

I had everything planned for the new year but I doubt I can ask her after all this..."

"Ask her what?"

"It makes no sense to talk about something that can't happen again, so let's not talk about it"

"Lea, stop feeling sorry when you haven't done anything wrong and go talk to her!"

"But..."

"It costs nothing to try to talk to her"

Nora's bedroom

"Honey, can I come in?" Lea said looking out the door

"You have no right..."

"You seriously don't want to let me in?"

"Exactly and anyway I wasn't referring to that, you have no right to call me that"

"Nora, it's me, your girlfriend, I call you that because I love you"

"Go away"

"Nora, I only ask you one thing, allow me to explain to you the reason for my choices"

"You have 5 minutes"

"Thank you" said Lea, trying to enter

"What are you doing?" Nora said, holding her back "You can't enter yet"

"But you said..."

"I can hear you from here too... what did you mean?"

"You know my story, my parents divorced when I was 12 and my father never showed up...

When I started working with your father I saw how much he loved twins...

I told him about my family and he told me how it is the exact opposite for him, his wife had taken away his first two children and gone away and had gotten an order to keep him away...

When I later found out that it was you that daughter I offered to speak to you, but they said they could not have contact under any circumstances without having a court authorization signed by your mother...

I just kept them updated on your life and you have no idea how happy they were for you..."

"Oh... yes it's true you had a motivation in a way"

"So I can still spend Christmas with my girlfriend?"

"You need one first!" Nora said closing the door on Mia

downstairs, shortly after

"Leah, what's going on?" Caitlin asked, seeing the girl crying down the stairs carrying the suitcase she had arrived with

"Nora is done with me... she understood why I talked to you but she doesn't want to continue being with me..."

"Lea, you'll see that everything will settle down..."

"I doubt that she can forgive me... I betrayed her trust and apparently it's too much for her"

"I'm so sorry Lea!"

"It doesn't matter... look I remember Dawn wanted one for Christmas" she said, grabbing a colorful packet from the bottom of her purse "It wasn't for her it was for Nora's birthday/ our anniversary... If I can't give it to Nora I wish you give it to Dawn... it sure is better, I don't want to keep it with me after all this" she concluded, placing it on the table and running out crying

"What happened?" Barry asked, walking in shortly after she'd left

"What happened was that Nora found out that Lea told us about her and Bart, so she broke up with her because she can't trust someone like that..."

"What? But Lea deeply loves Nora..."

"Even Nora loves Lea, but she doesn't trust her, unfortunately" said Caitlin, sorry for the two girls

"What is that package? I don't recognize him," Barry asked, noticing the package prominently on the table

"Lea left it, she said if she couldn't give it to Nora then she would give it to Dawn who wanted it for Christmas... I don't know what it is though..."

"What were her wishes for Christmas?"

"This year the list to choose from was huge, ultimately narrowed down to a doll, a telescope, a pendant, a locket, a ring or a princess tiara and a scepter..." said Caitlin opening the box

"Well, at least in addition to the telescope and the doll, she will have a pendant..."

"No..." Caitlin said, in a faint voice "She would have a diamond ring"
