"I hope you are joking!

It didn't go like that at all!" Allegra said

"So how did it go, let's hear!"

Flashback

Allen House

"Barry, are you ready?" Iris asked, knocking on the bathroom door

"Been ready for a while, Iris," Barry said, speeding after her with a bouquet of roses in hand

"Wow Barry, they are beautiful..."

"I just got them... in Ecuador"

"Thank you..."

"It was a pleasure..."

"Well, what are we waiting for?"

"Iris, it's 7.30, the restaurant is booked for 9.00"

"Well, you are late even with your speed, that's a fact... even though you have become more punctual over the years we never arrive on time if we don't arrive early"

"Ok... but what are we going to do in the meantime? We won't be able to sit down then."

"The restaurant has a bar lounge at the entrance for waiting, so we can wait there"

"Okay...let's go," Barry said, grabbing his cell phone and walking to the door

"What would you say if we weren't reachable for the evening?" Iris said, trying to get his cell phone

"Honey" Barry said with a chuckle "I can't, what if my help is needed? We're covered for light threats but we can't leave Allegra Frost and Chester to handle the more serious threats! They know how to get away with it, but we can't risk it"

"Barry, it's our special night! We've been planning the entire evening for weeks! We even agreed with my father to let Nora and Bart sleep there"

"Okay, but I'll keep my phone... if..." beep beep beep

"What happens?"

"I have to go..." Barry said, after reading the message

"But..."

"Iris is important"

"Then I'll come too"

"Thanks, but it's not about Flash...it's about me..." Barry said setting the phone down on the table

"I can come, I could help"

"Thanks but..."

"But what? Would that be too much?"

"Yes"

"But..."

"Sorry but I don't have time to waste now!" Barry said speeding away, leaving the phone on the table

It didn't take long for Iris to notice the cell phone, left in plain sight on a white tablecloth

"What is this so important thing?" she said, trying to unlock the phone

"Damn..." she said, starting to get nervous "Why isn't your password our anniversary?!"

After the third failed attempt, the block warning appeared, not wanting to risk it, she opened the notification panel, not obscured by the block
