Unknown location
Nora looked around, she and Alex were in a dark and cold place.
The smell, a mixture of rusty metal, oil and dust made that place recognizable even in that pitch dark: they were in an abandoned warehouse.
Slowly Nora reached into her pocket, reaching for her cell phone for light.
The space around them was huge and amplified the disorienting effect of the darkness, around them there were old machinery, apparently, they were old printing machines
"What place is this?" Alex asked
"Nora, Alex? Are you!?"
Lea's voice in the distance filled Nora with hope, without hesitation she started running towards that voice, only to then find herself rolling on the ground, holding her foot in pain
"Are you OK?" Alex asked, helping Nora up
"Yes...it's just," Nora said looking at the strange object tied around her ankle "...it's just that I can't run anymore...at least this time it's just for a damper"
"What?"
"A device capable of blocking the powers of metahumans to contain them..." Nora said, before heading back to where Lea's voice was coming from
"Nora!" cried Lea, seeing Nora come around the corner
"Leah, are you okay?" Nora said, running towards the girl
Lea was handcuffed to a metal chair fixed to the floor
Nora's heart tightened seeing Lea so helpless.
"I'm fine... please release me..."
"I don't know how..." Nora said, shaking the handcuffs wrapped around her lover's wrists
"You can't..." I whisper, looking at her sister out of the corner of my eye
"I don't have my speed..." Nora said, pointing to her ankle
"A meta dampener?"
"Yep... I can't take it off... not without my speed, Grandpa Joe taught me how to pick handcuffs, but I really have no idea how to do with these... they are... different, they are not like regular ones, they are specially modified to be almost impossible to break"
"Look Nora, you have to try anyway! I've been here for days!"
"How did you go to the bathroom then?" Nora asked, trying to ease the tension
"There is a bathroom behind the door behind me... Every few hours... I got freed to use it"
"Of course..." Nora whispered
"What did you say?" asked Leah
"Nothing," Nora whispered again, before turning to Alex
"Alex, why aren't you pulling your sister into a hug worried sick about what happened?"
"I'm just puzzled...why did she bring us here"
"I never said it was a she..."
"Yes but.... when you told me she was kidnapped while you were together in Lea's apartment"
"Alex... I told you she was kidnapped, but I never mentioned that it happened there...
But, after all, you know it because you were there"
"What do you mean?" Lea asked, not understanding what Nora was referring to
"Simply that Alex... she's the speedster who kidnapped us... Am I right?"
"I see you are smarter than you look, I know you want to do medicine, but I think you would go much further as a detective or a journalist"
"What do you mean Alex?" asked Lea, scared "Do you mean that you kidnapped me?"
"I need you as bait, little sister... but don't worry, I won't hurt you or your precious Nora.
The only one I have a score to settle with is Barry Allen"
