Initially they were fairly frequent checks, but after years they were reduced to an annual recurrence, added to her regular gynecological visits.

Scheduled check ups included an MRI with contrast, and during routine blood tests, doctors discovered she was pregnant.

For Caitlin it was a real shock, by now she had given up on the idea of ​​being a mother for years, when she lost her last child they had clearly told her that it would have been impossible for her to carry on a pregnancy even with medical assistance.

What freaked her out the most though was the fact that she and Barry hadn't been together long enough to talk about starting a family, especially after what happened with Iris.

It had taken her all day to get him to talk to Barry, and now, as she was relaxing on the couch as they waited for dinner to go, it was time...
