The Head didn't lie when he said he erased everyone's memories of the event - whenever someone talked to him about that day, they would only ask if he was feeling better from fainting (which was pretty embarrassing).

Jaeyun still felt horrible, even though a whole week has passed. He tried confronting his mother, but she never picked up his calls which made the pain in his chest deepen; Liz and Jaehyuk tried to cheer him up as best as they could which Jaeyun was grateful for, but nothing seemed to make him feel anything good. He almost felt numb.

The added bonus was the damned soulmate bond that seemed to constantly annoy him in the back of his head. He's not that aware as to how it is for vampires, but for werewolves it's hell. His chest constantly hurts, his wolf is constantly whining and asking for its mate and his emotions seem to be all over the place because he has become dependent on someone he doesn't even know.

It was driving him insane, he had to at least see the male or else his heart might actually give out from the link.

He waited for Jaehyuk to fall into a deep sleep before he snuck out of their room, trying to be as quiet as possible so he doesn't get caught by the patrol officers.

Jaeyun easily navigated his way through the dark, his werewolf vision helping a great amount as he tried to locate the specific hallway.

He knows that it's silly because the chances of the other male even being in the presence of the Wall were very low. Jaeyun still kept walking, wanting to at least try and get some sort of whiff of the other's presence, his wolf was craving it too much.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Jaeyun flinched at the harsh tone, the words being nothing but pure venom as the male spoke, yet Jaeyun could only feel his heart calming down because he knew who the voice was.

"Park Sunghoon," He said, a little breathless, staring into the bright red eyes of the vampire. Jaeyun gulped down the nervousness that had bubbled up in his throat, trying his hardest to not seem phased or intimidated.

"Sim Jaeyun," the man replied, slightly mocking the male as he glared at the boy, " what are you doing here? Came to fuck up my life some more?"

A pang of hurt stung through his heart, and his eyes saddened instantly, "What-"

"Just shut up," the raven growled, pointing an accusing finger at the male, "you just cost me so fucking much and you have the fucking balls to show up even within a miles radius of me?!"

"I didn't do any-"

" Zip it," the vampire hissed, baring his fangs at him with his eyes flushing a deeper shade of red. Jake felt himself whimpering, wanting to do nothing else but dig himself a hole and hide, "you're such a weak little werewolf, I don't know what you expect will happen, but I don't want you anywhere near me."

Jaeyun froze, eyes dampening with how ruthless the vampire was towards him. His chest heaved with pain, his inner wolf whining and screaming in agony. He got rejected, he got rejected by his one and only soulmate.

"Scram," with one final daggering glare, Sunghoon vanished into the darker end of the hallway, leaving Jaeyun trembling in the moonlight that shone through the opened window.
