Special Smile // Jadon Sancho

Chapter 6

When I woke up the next morning, my head was buzzing. I grabbed my head with one hand and slowly sat up. I saw Louise sitting on her bed with two tablets. Smiling, she stuffed the last piece of her scrambled eggs into her mouth but when she realized that I was awake, her smile quickly disappeared. "Good morning Britt... How are you? I had breakfast brought to our room. She got up from her bed and put the other tablet on my bed, pointing with her eyes at a piece of paper that was on the tablet. "You got a letter. You can guess three times from whom," she said, rolling her eyes enormously. It could only be one person. "Good morning beautiful. Hope you feel a little better again ;) <3"

Before I could get upset with Dave again, I jumped up in my bed and ran into the bathroom. I threw up in the toilet and cleaned my face afterwards. In fact, I felt better now and had a light breakfast. "Thank you Loulou, you are the best. Sorry about yesterday... I have no idea how this could happen," I told her in a whimpering voice." But I do," she replied sternly. I looked at her with a frown frown and my eyebrows narrowed. "Do you really think that this Dave was rAnDOm also there to help you?! Come on Britt, you're not stupid!" she said even more sternly. When I still couldn't quite follow her, she added to her statement with the words: "He must had mixed something into your drink when you danced with Jadon, that's obvious! I've seen him walking into the club".

Suddenly, it clicked and I felt sick again. Before I would throw up again, I finished breakfast, crumpled up the note, and threw it on the tablet. However, my mood was a lot better when I had to think of Jadon. The thought made me think of last night and I immediately grabbed my phone. And to my surprise, he texted me this morning!

Jadon

"Hey Brittan, how are you? I really enjoyed yesterday night. Even if it ended less nicely & also much too early! I hope you came back safely. By the way, I'm sorry that I'm only texting to you now but to be honest I didn't know what to write. I only thought of compliments, but I thought that was probably too superficial for you. But now that I'm texting you anyway: you looked awesome! You're blowing me away. Would you like to go out for dinner with me? Maybe tomorrow? Get well and hopefully see you soon. I'm thinking of you."

My smile got wider and wider the more I read. "Did Jadon finally text?" Louise asked me curiously. "Yeah," I beamed. "Would you mind if I go to dinner with him tomorrow?" I asked her uncertainly. "No! Go, he's a great guy. Then I can finally facetime Leandro again," she said, not noticing how her cheeks turned red. These two are really the perfect couple, a prime example. Like parents. I didn't hesitate for a second and answered him.

Jadon

"Hi Jadon. I'm not feeling very well but definitely better than last night! hahah thanks for your help by the way. I enjoyed it with you too, you are really a great guy and also look great ;) I'd love to! Tomorrow I will feel better, would you come to pick me up at the hotel? I'll send you the location. You're cute, I'm thinking bout u too :)"

I happily put the phone aside and let myself fall backwards onto the bed. My face adorned with a big smile. For a second I could enjoy the moment but then... "Shit what should I wear??" I almost shouted and sat up again, frightened. "Britt, now get fit again and I'll help you tomorrow," Louise laughed loudly.

We decided not to do anything special that day because Louise also had a small hangover. When we wanted to get some snacks in the vending machine in the hotel lobby, we saw the entrance to a wellness area for the first time.

Immediately we ran to the reception to book an appointment on the same day. "Around 3pm we would have a full body massage available for 2 people. In addition, there would be manicure and pedicure and also access to the sauna & the wellness oasis. You can visit the pool at any time without an appointment". We were amazed. "I would add it to the final bill so that you can pay everything together at the end". We didn't think twice and made the appointment.
