I woke up to a ringing. It was my front door. Even though it was Saturday, I knew my father wouldn't be there. On Saturdays he is usually half the day with friends and the other half at work... slowly and with a loud sigh I dragged myself out of bed and put on my dressing gown.

On the wall next to my door, I looked briefly but dreamily at the picture that Jadon gave me when he was there two days ago. It was in a frame and currently both of us's favorite couple picture.

I was snapped out of my thoughts when the doorbell rang a second time. "YEEES, I'M COMING", I shouted as loudly as I could. I quickly ran down the stairs, stopped short in front of the door and looked in the mirror. Then I opened the door. "Good morning, I'm sorry if I woke you up", said a kind elderly courier. „All good, it's not your fault," I laughed amiably. "These are for you! I wish you a nice weekend," said the courier and held out a large bouquet of flowers with a chocolate heart and a letter attached.

I said goodbye to the man and went to the kitchen. I threw the bouquet on the stove and made myself some coffee. These flowers couldn't be from Jadon, he knows how much I hate chocolate. A bad feeling spread through me and I went to my cell phone to text Jadon. But then I remembered that he had training. Because tomorrow he can join the game! And I will be there live and watching, so I had to hurry up a bit today because I still had a lot to do.

I decided to call him anyway. And to my amazement he answered the call after the second ring. "Baby? Is something wrong with your knee?" he asked, the concern in his voice. I had to laugh a little. "No, everything is fine there". "Where isn't it?" he asked, He always notice when something wasn't good. "I got flowers again...I assume they aren't from you because it has chocolate with it," I answered quickly and directly.

First he didn't say anything for a long time. "Babe?" I asked uncertainly. In the background I heard many voices and among them I recognized Marcus's voice. They must have just taken a break from training. "I'm here," I heard some anger in his voice. But then he said in a laughing voice: "No. Unfortunately again not from me. But I can only laugh about it right now, because whoever gives you chocolate must know you very badly. I knew that from our first date on".

A relieved smile spread across my lips. "Thanks babe... sorry," I said a little desperately. "It's fine. We'll find this asshole and until then I won't give you any flowers," he laughed. I joined in the laughter. I was now lying on my back on the couch in the garden, smiling like a little kid getting candy. "I love you" I said. "I love you too. I have to go back! See you tonight".

I hung up and took a sip of my coffee. Then I got the bouquet and threw it in the container. I lay back on the couch in the garden and decided to post a photo. It's about time I teased a bit.
