While sitting next to Jadon on the plane, I saw that Louise was sitting next to Leo and I was actually starting to get worried. Because I really never saw them like that before. I looked at her one more time to be sure and she smiled deeply at me. I knew everything will be fine. I know her. I walked up to Lucia and spoke to her, taking Marcus's place. "Cheeky, I have to sit next to Jadon," he snorted at me.

We just laughed at him and he left. "Hey Brittan!" Marcus yelled through the whole plane. "What?" I asked laughing. "Your dear boy is sleeping and the plane hasn't even taken off yet," he complained.

Before we started we changed places again and Jadon suddenly woke up. "Hey baby... why are you so tired?" I prompted. "Had a bad night's sleep," Jadon mumbled. I looked at him questioningly and a little worried, drawing my eyebrows closer together. "Do you wanna talk about it?" I asked lightly. But he just shook his head. "Not here," he added after a long pause. "Okay," I whispered. Holding onto his arm tightly so that I was entwined, I kissed his upper arm and snuggled close to him.

He leaned his head against mine. "I don't want to disappoint anyone," he suddenly said out of nowhere. Before I could answer, he continued talking. I listened intently to him "Losing my job, losing my friends. Losing you," his voice sounded fragile. "Babe.. you absolutely don't disappoint anyone! You are so great, everyone has their rough edges. We're all human," I tried to cheer him up.

"I know.. but everyone notices my mistakes, do you know what I mean?" he asked me. "Yes, of course. But believe me, I will never let you down," I replied. "Then my biggest fear is gone. At least for the moment," he said sweetly and planted a kiss on my head. The plane suddenly moved and the boys' mood grew brighter and brighter. Except for Jadon, who leaned against me again and closed his eyes. We took off.

13 hours later

Suddenly I felt a fine shaking and when I opened my eyes I saw a beaming Jadon in front of me. "Baby we're here," he said happily. I heard the boys romping around again, it sounded like my daycare but it made me kind of happy. We all went through passport control and then to big cars that held 7 people each. The split was a quick process as it was only 20 minutes to drive anyway.

A few lovely people welcomed us, and they turned out to be our drivers. The air here is so fresh and takes you to another world. You forget real life. That can be good but also dangerous. When we got to the hotel, I was speechless. It was huge but at the same time it felt very homey. The furnishings were exactly my taste. But even I, with a father with an above-average income, wasn't used to this.
