1 more week and it will be time: our first Christmas with Mateo. Our little family. I could never have imagined the beautiful life I would one day live. Jadon was now back to his old form. It was midday and I finished decorating our house with the fairy lights. From another corner of the house I heard Jadon calling me: "Baby?!" I heard Jadon coming towards me and took a few steps towards him. "I'm doing a shoot today and then we'll go and have something relaxed to eat. Do you want to come with us?" he asked me and stood in front of me, followed by a kiss. "What about Mateo?" I asked, completely exhausted. Jadon looked at me worried: "Baby, are you okay? He can come with us, then he'll get to know some great people." He wanted to cheer me up with his beautiful smile and his slight dimples.
And it worked very well. "It's okay, babe, I'm just really exhausted but that's part of it. We're coming with you," I replied. His smile grew wider and I got another kiss. "See you later," he said goodbye and left our house. I sighed and collapsed onto the sofa. Just then, Mateo started screaming. I closed my eyes. Breathed in and out deeply. Got up and went to the bedroom. When I looked at his little face, I saw Jadon reflected and I couldn't be angry with anyone anymore.
