NO MATTER WHAT she did there was always something she was in trouble for. Wether that be something that was entirely her fault, or taking the blame for someone.

And so, she was often cooking, or hunting. Her biggest punishment wasn't that big, but now, she was banned from riding her Ikran. That was the worst thing.

Riding her Ikran was like an escape for her. An escape from the reality. She greeted the woman cooking, offering to take over on the cleaning as the girl nodded and walked off to another task. She washed the silverware used to cook in the river, zoning out as she mindlessly scrubbed.

She sighed, rinsing off the silverware as she walked back, placing it in the bucket. She grabbed one of the clean fish, laying it against the fire as she watched it cook.

At the end of the boring night, she sat around the fire as her people were lost in conversation. She chewed thoughtfully on her fish, bored. She sat in silence as she ate.

Her mind wandered as she zoned out looking at the fire, before a large hand gripped the back of her neck, making her jump. Lo'ak sat down beside her, smiling. She let out a sigh of relief.

' Why do you always have to do that? ' She grumbled.

' Because it's funny. ' He laughed softly, taking a piece of food off her plate. He popped the food into his mouth, as she slapped his shoulder.

' Get your own food. ' She scoffed, as he simply laughed at her reaction.

' Why should I? I have your food right here. ' He mused. She rolled her eyes. He lowered his head, whispering- ' Don't look now, but Eikzä is staring. '

She immediately looked up, her eyes locking with Eikzä's as she stared for a second. And then, she got up, walking towards them.

' I literally said don't look, you- ' He hissed, but then Eikzä was right in front of them.

' Hi! ' She said cheerfully.

Eikzä was the most annoying girl in our clan. She was always touchy, and flirty with Lo'ak, despite his obvious uncomfort. Kxilyä wasn't jealous at the fact of her with Lo'ak, but instead of her beauty.

She was beautiful, and no one could deny that. Her features were perfect, and sharp, and her wavy hair was long and soft. Her body was a perfect hourglass, and her personality really connected it all. She was nice, outgoing, and there wasn't anything to dislike about her. That was the worst part. Kxilyä didn't have a reason to hate her, she just did.

Eikzä sat next to Lo'ak, as she ranted on about something random. Lo'ak gave short, annoyed answers, but put a smile on his face.

' Yeah, it's nice to see you Eikzä. ' He said awkwardly.

' You too! ' She smiled. ' Do you want to.. go out sometime? ' A purple pint shone on her cheeks as she spoke.

Kxilyä held in her laugh, as he stuttered on his words.

' Uhm, I'm actually grounded. Sorry. ' He smiled. ' Thank you for the offer, though. '

' Oh. ' She said, embarrassed. ' Yeah. Why were you grounded? ' She titled her head as she asked, her shiny hair brisking over her shoulder.

' I snuck out. ' He grimaced. ' Someone convinced me. ' He played with the string on his loincloth as he spoke.

' Who's this someone? ' She asked, a hint of jealousy in her voice.

' No one important. ' He answered quickly. Too quickly. Eikzä nodded slowly.

' Okay, well, have a good night Lo'ak. ' She smiled, before getting up and walking over to her friends. They squealed in excitement, whispering to each other.
