Meanwhile, within an abandoned city.

A giant cloud of dust could be seen in the distance as a black-haired girl was thrown onto the side of the building, making a small crater on the wall she landed with both her feet.

"Durandal, I need you to stop and listen to me!" She yelled but immediately sighed as she saw the white lance flying at her.

Just before the lance made contact with her, in a blink of an eye as the girl disappeared, leaving the lance piercing through the building as if it was nothing.

Reappearing on top of another building, the girl whistled while placing her hand over her eyes, looking at the building she was on slowly sliding down by the thrown lance.

"Well, that's S-Rank Valkyrie for you. That sure cut clean... Sorry in advance by the way." She said before immediately taking a defensive stance as the Valkyrie's fist greeted her.

Yet the girl merely swerves her head away as she pushes the Valkyrie's fist away, returning the "surprise gift" the S-Rank Valkyrie gave her as her palm hits the Valkyrie's gut, sending her hundreds of meters away, hitting a different building before disappearing again.

Reappearing again in front of the Valkyrie as the girl looks inside the crater that was created. She could hear what seems to be the sound of the S-Rank Valkyrie's suit shutting down.

"Miss Durandal, listen. I don't wanna fight you or anything, but you really need to stop throwing that lance at me through every rese-" Cutting herself off as she saw something within the crater.

It wasn't the countless wounds on the S-Rank that she inflicted on her that caught her attention. No, what caught her attention was the glowing object around the Valkyrie's neck.

"Eh?" She had a confused expression on her face as she took a closer look at the object. A simple necklace containing a small white crystal.

"Odd... She never wore this before... Did Rita give it to her?" Taking the necklace from the Valkyrie as she took a closer inspection...

Letting out another confused sound as the light that omits from the crystal grew brighter in her hand as she tilted her head.

"Weird..." She said as she move the necklace closer to the Valkyrie, causing the light to glow dimmer before moving the necklace back to her as it glow brighter.

"It's not reacting to her..." She said before her eyes begins to glow, focusing on the necklace... Her eyes immediately stopped glowing upon realization of what the object in her hand is.

"This is-!" Before she could finish her sentence, an arm grabbed hers before throwing herself into the building.

Grabbing the necklace as the blonde Valkyrie leaped away from the building she was thrown into before kicking the girl's face, creating a distance between the two of them as she landed on another roof.

Whipping the blood off her head as the blonde Valkyrie look back and forth between the necklace in her hand and the crater on the wall.

"What do you know of this?" The Valkyrie demanded as she raised the necklace, pointing it at the crater before moving her head at the last second, dodging an incoming arrow.

However, the S-Rank Valkyrie wasn't fast enough as the arrow managed to leave a small cut on the Valkyrie's cheek and even cut a few strings of her hair.

Before the Valkyrie could act, the black hair girl somehow managed to appear behind her with a spear in her hand.

Immediately leaping away from the spear's path, the Valkyrie was pushed further on the defense as thousands of silver daggers came at her.
